After clearing immigration, you can cancel the unwanted booking. The other option is to go just like that and explain to the visa officials that you will book later. I will recommend the free cancellation option.

If you need to pass through immigration at Bangkok due to change of airline or different PNR ticket, you will have to show your connecting flight ticket, boarding card of the flight of arrival, and passport. Hi. I have no first hand experience of this, but the Rupay debit card I have, is showing Discover, Diners, and Pulse logos. If your card has the same logos, then you may try your card at an ATM in Malaysia which displays any of these three logos. Also ensure that your card is enabled for international usage, and you have allocated limits for ATM and POS usage outside India.

The one belonging to AIRPORTELs is close to international arrivals, and the other one is on the way from international arrivals to the domestic terminal. Terminal 1 ground floor is international arrival. Enter from there and you can walk to the storage counters. The walk to the domestic terminal from there is a short one. Don't worry.

@bane9295 The proof of funds has to be shown in currency only. It can be Thai Baht, USD, or another popular currency. They will not accept bank statement as proof. However, at the fast track counter, there is not much scrutiny. It is better to pay 200 Baht extra and take the fast track.
