I worked retail for a massive music store in the UK called HMV I find myself whenever I’m in a shop and notice stuff is out of place or moved I’ll put it back and fix it. It’s like muscle memory to me and I know what it’s like to want things a certain way.

I'm curious how much Lego Technic moves through these stores. I get that the sets get discontinued on 2 year cycles but the Technic collectors market is far smaller than the broader Lego collectors market. I have doubts on if people actually pay up for the older Technic sets.

I can't stand people that mess up displays. I am always careful when looking, and they leave aisles better than I found them, even at Ollie's!

I love Eternia Dreams. Allan and Nicki are the perfect hosts, totally relatable and always interesting episodes. It drops late on a Sunday night here in Scotland and it’s the perfect end to the weekend. I’m looking for a minty loose Skeletor, original 1982 (wave 1). It’s probably an easy find for most but I can’t find one that hasn’t been beaten up or chewed 💀

The Gold cobra symbol is from the 50th 3 pack of Viper officer , Cobra trooper , & Beach-Head , Toys R US exclusives towards the end of modern 4” Gi joes , after that it’s all collectors club figures and convention exclusives etc until the Wal-mart exclusives 4” retro Gi joes , & the 2007 25th to 2017 50th Gi joes are easy to spot compared to the Wal-mart retro exclusive it’s the screws in the thighs

Had a collection come in last month, Did over a 1,000 Joe's from the Straight arm to the Star brigade, half needed Oring replacement, all needed to be paired up with weapons (and those were all in 2 shoe boxes) was a pain in the butt, but I had so much fun seeing all of them.

LIFE HACK: those bag tear offs. I get a 10” piece of boxing tape, stick it back to its self and attach it so something near by. i tear it off the bag and stick it on the tape. when full i toss it and make another. i used to hate them too.

Those late 2000s/RoC Joe’s are a pain to match up with all the tiny accessories they came with across variants and exclusives. Compound that with their value being nowhere near the classic vintage Joe line and you got to consider sunken costs.
