The fragility of these and the loose joints kind of defeats one of their main purposes of being easily pop and swappable. I’m trying to get rid of my unopened builders for this reason. Only keeping the figures I like as they come out of the box so I can just set them and forget them.

Also seeing this guy saying signed pops don't have as much value because a lot of people want to get them signed themselves when the girl was trading pops in... but when they sell them they will price them often ten times as much if not more, if the funko is signed. It's just obvious the resellers are scamming and ripping off their customers, that's why I like no longer collecting because truth be told these resellers do not deserve the business, they are more like scam artists than small businesses.

I stopped collecting ALL physical items such as videogames, funkopops, toys, anime DVD, pokemon cards etc, because I got so sick of these resellers overpricing and ripping you off, especially if you want to sell some products, you know there's only going to offer 10% sometimes less for hundreds of items of what they sell them for, left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I stopped collecting after selling all my items for a bad price, I just thought, what's the point? I think these stores are their own downfall imo.

Gonna be honest here, to me Funko is the most consumerism centered hobby, people collect all this shit from every franchise, in every "limited" color from a obscure event and it just stays there on the humongous pile of wasted cash, I build gunpla and I have very specific memories of every kit I've build and painted and they are all from shows I love, so when i display my mecha, I do it with pride because i made those little guys and learned a lot while doing so, a funko collector feels pride at how much money he spends and how much he harassed a famous person for an autograph to increase value lol 😅

The other difference between the two Veritech fighters is one is Skull 1 - Roy Fokker's Veritech (and later Rick Hunters). The Exo Squad one is Rick Hunter's Veritech when he was in command of Vermillion squadron.

So many great memories with the exo squad robotech destroids. I definitely bought the smaller ones at KBtoys. And they got a lot of play. I've only seen the larger ones recently and picked up two of them. They have doors that open to reveal more weapons. Glad its not too crazy of a price to collect them even carded.

Another awesome video. Fun and I learned a bit. Excited for when I can spend some money with you all either via a website or Whatnot.

Allan is definitely a gentleman and a scholar, I was the one there with my friend and veteran to sell his Robotech collection. Allan and wife were very accommodating, fair and made the overall experience comfortable and pleasant. Thank you again Allan you made his day and helped out an Air Force OIF veteran as well.
