Works with soda too, anyone who denies tilting the glass just doesnt drink. The amount of carbon let out is minimal, compared to what is still in the drink. Yeah you might get slightly more bloated in theory, but the effect is so minimal you cant tell.

Yeah except beer SHOULD have head when poured, the amount of head it should have depends on the beer, but the aromatics of the head will affect the taste of the beer as well as the carbonation level. Any bartender worth a shit knows this.

That bar rescue episode was sarcasm, and its shocking that its been taken as fact. Carbonation doesnt make you bloated the CARBS do, you know carbohydrates the macro nutrient. Go drink no carb seltzers and you will notice you dont bloat even with carbonation.
