Aces of IAF

I am an avid model maker of Aircraft and AFVs. I have picked this hobby since childhood as the Army and aircraft always fascinated and motivated me to soar the skies with open wings.
My aim is to make all the current and historical aircraft of the Indian Air Force and Army Vehicles. through this channel I would like to take you along with me to this epic journey.
I won't say that my videos of the build will be tutorials but will be more of how I went about it. So folks, tighten your seat belts as, we are about to take off. Jai Hind!!!!!!

HobbyBoss 1/48 EMB 312 Tucano converted to Pilatus PC-7 Mk II in IAF markings
Hello Model Makers!!
In this build I have converted the Embraer Tucano to IAF Pilatus PC-7 Mk II in 1/48 scale. This build was done a year ago and video was not recorded thus, this slideshow of photographs.
The kit comes with great surface details. Decals provided are also good. But, I customised the decals in Indian Air Force markings.
Audio credits to www.bensounds.com and one clip from Pablo Cimadevila's video.
Intro video credits to Discovery International for their Veer series.

Revell 1/48 Sepecat Jaguar: Full Build in Indian Air Force Markings
Переглядів 14 тис.4 роки тому
Hello there Model Makers. Welcome to my channel's first ever video featuring the stunning Sepecat Jaguar in 1/48 scale. The kit is from Revell with not so great surface details. You will have to work hard to bring it up to the standards. Decals provided OOB are great but, for my model in the Indian Air Force markings, I had to design my own custom decals. Paints used are mostly Tamiya and Mr. H...
What paint brand did you use for the airbrush ? Acrylic or enamel ?
Sir...excellent one..how did you prepare IAF decals...??
Hello, I printed it myself
@@acesofiaf4579 Sir...can you please make a video on this.. preparation of IAF decals...very difficult to find ...esp...scale 1/48 and 1/72. My models of Vampire, various Migs all lying unfinished due decals...pl help...Satinder from Canada..
@@satindersingh3985 My 2 paisa - you can make images of the IAF markings on computer program like MS Paint and print on blank decal paper. Only thing to be careful is best paper to use should have transparent film but it will leave the base colour of the model visible in the white part of the roundel, in this case grey, since white cannot be printed by inkjet. This is why you can see that the white circles are painted before the decals are applied on them. Best to use model decal roundels and fin flash as size guide for making your own images.
For anybody making a model of the Sepecat Jaguar the auxiliary intake doors on the side of the engine intakes are only open when the engine is running with a bit of open throttle, on the ground with no engines running they are spring loaded shut. it just does not look right with canopy open and intakes open it just would never happen.
Saw a lot jaguar taxiing with Open canopy and intakes Open. 🤓
@@speedingSloth How long did you work on jaguars, in my seven years I never saw a jaguar with a fully open Canopy taxying. held slightly open on the dedicated latch yes.
@@davegoldsmith4020 ua-cam.com/video/0jG1d6svVLo/v-deo.html Watch at 5:45, i didnt have to work on them so Watch Videos 🫠. But to be fair, i tought you meant also not Open a bit. That i saw realy often. Fully open seemed unusual.
@@speedingSloth I think the fully open was down to the extreme heat of the desert, certainly not the norm in Europe. I worked on Jaguars in Scotland, England and Germany. When in Sardinia the cockpits got extremely hot, we kept the canopies closed and covered.
@@davegoldsmith4020 Loved the Jag, even if it was a bit underpowered. I did my time on the simulators at Lossie and Wildenrath so wouldn't know about the details of whether the intake doors would be open or not, but I also never saw a Jag taxiing with a wide open canopy.
Nice model. Question for you, how did you make the decals with IAF markings and what gray is used by the IAF for its planes? Thx
Awesome
My friend, you have the recon pod on back to front. I didn’t know the IAF used it?
Not quite a conversion but it’s your build

Thank.....will definitely incorporate in next videos..... looking forward for your suggestions
Badass👍👍
By far the worst video I've seen about scale model build!! Dude, not everything should be in fast motion!!! Show your work by focusing on details that matter!!! What a waste!!!! 9hh and by the way, when you unbox, show the viewers the quality of the m9del, dont just skim through it!!!!
@ Mens Rea - Yeah! Like you did an exemplary job in the Tomcat unboxing video. Get a life Troll.
Thanks man......I had an obligation to upload on that very day....that's why.....😀
@@acesofiaf4579 good luck with your other videos mate 👍🏻
