Crazy thing is, the whole witcher 3 and the dlcs could easily be a movie trilogy. Witcher wild hunt would be dark fantasy epic, heart of stone would be just straight up a creepy horror film with an otherworldly atmosphere and suspense, and blood and wine would be a gorey gothic fantasy/ horror film. Like imagine adapting the battle of kaer mohren and the butchering of toussaint. Man wtf hasnt anyone made this a movie trilogy.

I disagree that O'Dimm is the devil or god because he is bound by rules as well and not allmighty. He is *one* lesser god of many, most likely inspired by the Lovecraftian universe. It has a few gods that can manipulate time. His name derives from Stephen Kings Walter O'Dimm character who is based on Lovecrafts Nyarlathotep.

Not sure if it is related or not but Gaunter has quite a lot similarities with Walter O‘Dim the evil wizard from Stephen King‘s Dark Tower books - maybe same being another universe?

i like how almost everyone assumes he's the witcher universe's version of the christian god because of the initials G.O.D but if you take to notice he actually behaves more like the devil and the devil would'nt think twice on using GOD as a rouse to trick people.

I just did the Blood and Wine quest where you lift the curse off Marlene, who's been a spoon obsessed wight for 100 years. Afterwards, when Geralt told the majordomo about how she was cursed by a "beggar" after refusing to give him food, Gaunter's theme played. Goosebumps
