Halloween 4 is an underrated horror flick

Hi Mike, Good to see you picking up the Pryor & Wilder box set as most of us did, real shame that “Silver streak” wasn’t included ☹️ which holds a lot of memories on watching on tv, “Stir crazy” my fav. I actually never got around to watching “Death becomes her” 😬mainly in how Bruce Willis looks, silly reason I know but maybe I should just give it a shot, essential upgrade “The Terminator” Absolutely the original mono sound to the movie 100%, you know it means sense 👍, awesome edition of “Seven Samurai” One of my long awaited 4K upgrades “The Great Escape” & so happy to get it at this time of the year as well. Thought that Superman 4K steelbook set sold out, it’s a awesome collectors piece, Christmas present to yourself 🤣👍fine update buddy, have a great Christmas 🎅 Mike.

Death Becomes Her is a gem. I remember seeing this in the cinema as a kid and really enjoying it. Needs a revisit I think.

I picked up juggernaut not seen it yet, carnt go wrong with Pryor wilder , a simple plan is fantastic the ending is heartbreaking, The terminator is my favourite rewatch this year mate 👍🏻 Santa 🎅🏻 has has got me great escape on 4 k on the big day gotta wait , nice pickups mate 👍🏻

The transfer is same, but the Studiocanal 4K release is significantly better encoded than the Criterion 4K and improves clarity and grain structure throughout. You can see the difference yourself on capsaholic

Im currently watching his filmography in release date order. I'm up to 1986 "C.A.T Squad" and so far my 3 favourites are Sorcerer, The Exorcist and French connection. Ive seen rules of engagement beforehand and think it is criminally underrated

No Time to Die is probably my least favorite James Bond movie. It was long and boring and I’m not sure what was happening most of the time. Stir Crazy is my favorite Wilder and Pryor movie. Silver Streak is ok.

Hi Mike, The remake of "The Getaway" better than the original 😮😱love Steve McQueen, but i will pretend that you didn"t say that ! 😆, the remake actually isn"t bad actually, i also grabbed myself a copy of "The Island" as its movie that always caught my eye with the artwork & that Michael Caine is in it, i also i have that Pryor-Wilder set pre=ordered too & a shame that it doesn"t include "Silver Streak" its one i"ve tried to get the U.S blu ray but its long out of print & expensive so the Spanish blu ray has gotta replace my UK dvd, highly enjoyable & one that i used to watch many times on UK tv. My fav Mickey Rourke movie "Year of the Dragon" & totally agree, such a underrated movie, my fav "Friday the 13th" movie Part 2 & the wheelchair kill on the steps 😆😆😆. One of the great releases of the year "A Nightmare on Elm street" i wouldn"t mind Part 2 & 3 in the same sort of packaging, fine update, i"d try ebay U.S 4K cases you might get a seller on there. Great stuff Mike.

2 discs,good quality box, picture book and an excellent 4k transfer .... For £30. I don't think it's undewelming especially when some studios release 4k only without even a slip for £25.

I hated Halloween 2018 so much its become driving for behind me starting a review channel. So many critiques I had organically watching it and I’ve never heard anyone mention them. Anyways great list overall even where I don’t agree I like how you put your analysis together

Excellent video Mike. Really enjoyed this one. I’ve only seen the first 3 Halloween films so far and Halloween 3 is my favourite. I don’t see it getting topped by any of the sequels tbh, but I’ve heard there’s some more entertaining sequels in the series. Love the first two films as well. Awesome stuff Mike.👍

Halloween 2 RZ gets way too much hate. It's really grown on me over the years. 1. Halloween 1978 2. Halloween 2 RZ 3. Halloween 4 4. Halloween 2 5. Halloween 2018 6. Halloween 3 - should be anthology series. 7. Halloween 6 Directors Cut - Much better 8. Halloween 5 9. H20 - The mask in this movie make it almost unwatchable anymore, i dont enjoy it 10. Halloween Kills 11. Resurrection 12. Halloween RZ - 1st act i skip, complete trash 13. Halloween Ends - Movie makes zero sense, and completely ruined the franchise honestly.

Hi Mike, Nicely put together tier video & you explaining your listing, now i do need a more current revisiting of all the movies again back to back to maybe slightly change my thoughts on the middle ground movies in the series, i think most would have the original Halloween movie as their fav & no.1, "Halloween 2" with the hospital setting would be my second fav & i would slot that in a tier below. "Halloween 4" & "Halloween (2018) would be my next favourites & then "Halloween H20" these movies are the ones that i could watch many times but "Halloween resurrection" i could pass on & never watch again, the thought of seeing Busta Rhymes using martial arts moves on Michael Myers in the movie is one of the absurd scenes ever for me 😮🤬WTF. Hi Mike, A surprise to see 88 Films having “American Pie” in their catalogue as a release, when one sees a movie getting a 4K release & a upgrade you’d think some new features & extras would be added. It’s such a comedy classic that deserves the full special treatment, a little lacklustre & disappointing. By far my favourite in the series.

Classic film, my favourite in the franchise, but a very underwhelming set, would like, a new commentary with the cast, a new documentary, reverse artwork, a poster, and that book having reading material instead of screenshots, great unboxing. 💽🎬👍🏻

Great movies pick up, I purchase Hard Boiled blu ray from Hong Kong Rescue release just received last week, I never seen A Better Tomorrow 3 or own but I do own A better tomorrow dvd steelbook and A better tomorrow 2 blu ray mediabook German release, looking forward for The Killer blu ray from Hong Kong Rescue release, also I have The Champions and The Two Taoist tales.

Hi Mike, Hope all is well buddy, plenty of Asian goodness from 88 Films as usual, "Shout at the devil" isn"t a classic by any means but its worth checking out for the Lee Marvin & Roger Moore pairing but overall i enjoyed it, "Darkman" is highly entertaining, a movie i"ve never owned 🤔the "Friday the 13th" 2009 is nice looking set & i"m guessing its either sold out or will be sold out. I do have that "Silver Bullet" Scream Factory edition & its a movie that has really grown on me more nowadays than in the vhs days, "Project A" collection in 4K 😎, "The Hitcher" was worth the wait, outstanding release from Second Sight Films, i would class it as a psychological action thriller myself, fine update.
