The annual Starlight Celebration event is a time of joy festivity in Final Fantasy XIV, but it brings with it one of the most comically controversial weather conditions in the entire game: the mysterious Starlight Snow. With the tools available to us in the modern game, will it be possible to finally put the arguments to rest and reveal the true nature of this dastardly precipitation? ...Maybe!

As of patch 6.55, there are 289 big fish in FFXIV. In March and April 2024, one of them, the Bobgoblin Bass, went away for 37 full actual real-life days.
