    Thank you for sharing, can I use this in Architecture visualization as in my current workflow I only use the last technique in the video but for the new building what can I do for realism instead of making it imperfect. Please share some thing I will apply in my new Archviz project. I also have one request for Archviz huge environment like background buildings, trees etc. is required to show the surrounding and like Unreal engine blender does not has it, can you make a video on this issue as I did not found any video for archviz big scene environment.

    Lighting and how the materials react to it is still the most important aspect. But part of that is in how the objects in the scene are designed (are they perfect shapes? Things in real life aren't always the case). Because the lighting will be affected by this. I think that is what you mean by 'chaos.' Your scene with the modifications looks fantastic and is an improvement, but it still doesn't look photoreal to me.

    A suggestion, you should first make your project and upload the final piece on UA-cam as a shorts or a 2-3 min video with having description like the explanatory video will be posted soon or something like this, then a day or two later, post the video where you'd explain it.. or may be you should watch some other guys for how they run their channels specifically having channels of topic similar to yours like Max Hey etc.. Hope that you'd find it well.. A thing to remember, I'm not saying your video isn't good, it's more than much but, you know there's always a room for improvement, and mine was just a chummy suggestion And to be sincere, just one thing that I don't like is music but thats something related to me

      Good call, same concept just taken a step farther. My bet: he was 3d scanned (at least his face) for that video. Some of the outfits are 3d too. Then, they did hard match cuts between him keyed on green screen, and his 3d avatar. Extra points for a detailed 3d environment to sell the look. Glad I watched that, thanks for the suggestion )

      @@RTKdarling i believe he used unreals metahuman for his face scan, but the fact that this was a solo project and he got all the details in place with the cloth sims and vfx is just insane. • @RTKdarling
      @RTKdarling 2 місяці тому

      @@niklastsalkos I feel like there was some cheating on the cloth, feels less "sim" and more bent. I think they got away with the mocap because of the quick cuts. There's also some great AI tools that help with basic mocap... I'm already building a set, and I've contacted a model that I know is hungry for work. • @sibience
    @sibience 3 місяці тому

    Personally I don't see the point of using an addon like this other than a small amount of convenience. You're better off just installing SD with a WebUI or ComfyUI. That will give you far more options and control and also helps to reduce resources a bit if you have lower end hardware as you don't need Blender running at the same time. I've been using SD like this for a while now. Dream textures is better for the camera projection texture stuff but with how SD generates images, as in it bakes in all light and shadow information, you still need to stick them in an external image editor and make changes anyway if you want them looking half decent. At the moment I do texturing manually too by just rendering out images from certain angles and then loading them up in SD to use with Controlnet.

    • @scenefiller
      @scenefiller 3 місяці тому

      yeah locally hosting SD is still the more robust option for sure, I think the addon serves as a more convenient/easier setup like you mentioned but with things like Comfy and Forge coming out hosting locally is becoming easier 😊the other main disadvantage of DT is the lack of LoRA support but I believe they're working on implementing it

      Can you share some of your works made of a stable diffusion texturing with controlnet?

    • @sibience
      @sibience 3 місяці тому

      @@scenefiller Yes, SD is a lot easier to install now and 1.5 runs fine on just 8 gigs of VRAM and even lower now. I think addons like this are the future when it comes to 3D though as well as dedicated apps. There's one called Stable Projectorz you might find interesting to look at. The big drawback to texturing in this way right now is that AI bakes in all light and shadow info, which is obviously bad. That's why I like to set up all the lighting in my scene first, often with some basic procedural textures and then render out images to then use with img2img and ControlNet. That way you have some control over the lighting and shadows that are getting baked in.

    • @sibience
      @sibience 3 місяці тому

      @@Sanctiwreath I haven't really got many images online but there's a few videos on my channel. I just made a cyberpunk style Oculus Quest home where I used SD to help with texturing. There's a short cyberpunk city animation where I used it for some of the neon signs in the background and an older clip of a Mini Cooper car where I used SD for camera projection. Camera projection is actually a really good use for generative AI right now because instead of the traditional method of trying to match your 3D to an image you can do it in reverse and just generate an image to match your 3D.

    Yes. But the main problem is the Kitbash3D license : you can only use the assets during a subscription. For example : you have a six month subscription and download Assets for a project that is starting, and finally for some reasons you must delay the project to eight months … then you cannot use the downloaded assets anymore unless you pay another subscription. Not clear when you read the license in details but totally confirmed by the license support. That is the only GREAT limitation of Kitbash3D … but their 3D models are amazing :).

    • @scenefiller
      @scenefiller 3 місяці тому

      for sure! i suppose the best scenario is to use a subscription based model to "trial" the different packs, then buy the ones that stand out, of course that will depend on the specific company whether they allow one-time purchases
