Awesome content! With NEO buildings from QI bear in mind that their top levels (e.g. Neocollosus beyond lvl 8) cost real money. I heard it's theoretically possible to acquire them through in-game mechanics but you must be the top guild and always do the last lvls of QI. In my case my guild is top 6-8 and I can't dream of going beyond NeoCollosus lvl 8.

Your videos have been a game changer for me. I've only been playing a couple of months but since I found your channel a few weeks ago I've transformed my city into a powerhouse, for a newbie. TY

Not sure if I'd say sad . But I've got a guild full of stumps. Not one of my guild members is playing even the basics of the game. Deadwood . The problem is i don't want to kick em out . But they refuse to do anything at all.

I agree on the diamond sales. The way they offer them randomly, to some and not others, is pretty crazy. When they have sales, the same sale should be offered to all players at the same time. Not randomly through whatever process they currently have.

You can obtain 7 city expansions from QI medals. They cost increasingly more per expansion - my third was 1.7m.

Thank you for your video. I have looked closely at my thrown together city as a result, and have deleted a World's Fair plus a Contestant's Estate in favour of a Blue Galaxy. I have no intention of deleting my Alcatraz because I really like the free troops. But I do plan on uplevelling my Zeus and Observatory. Thanks for making me look and think about this. 😁

What about getting goods from Sleigh Builders? It is unclear what is needed to unlock the Mars ore in the continental map province. Is it Mars goods or Mars credits, you said goods and have understood it from others that it was Mars credits that is needed.

If the time to collect from your special buildings is at say 1pm but you can't collect from your BG until say 6pm. Will you still have chances when you next collect from your special buildings the following day? This would be the next time you can collect. Hope I have explained what I mean. 😳

I’m in PE..My boosts are all around 2K each, I have 45K fp’s, Arc lvl 115…I’m my Guild’s GBG Cmdr & GE lvl 5 always. I want to hyper age up to FE & I have enough goods (10Kea good for PME, CE on to FE), Dimes for expansions & reno’s too. I am thinking of doing it in one day too…Thoughts go or no go?

I would hesitate to dismantle anything. In the same way I was hesitant to sell off certain selection kits from an event building I was less than thrilled with. Now of course I am so glad I did not rush to sell them because "gold upgrades" added new life and more rewards to those buildings I did not want originally, and now they sit in my city. I know people who had to rebuild ToR when Level 5 hit us - and not because level 5 is all that, but Forgotten Temple is a must have for anyone who partakes in QI - not to mention the sweet fp bonus on collections. And look how amazing Blue Galaxy is now that special buildings offer all that they do - it's become an absolute must have as well. A lot of people did not bother much with settlements, calling them a boring waste of time - look at the boost those buildings got!! And now they included the "ascended" levels. Careful how quick you jump to delete things on FoE - it might bite you in the ass.

Currently on the beta server the Summer Event is running. During the Rival questline we were suddenly surprised by tasks that required 8 hour or even 24 hour productions of buildings of YOUR age. Wow, that was a hard quest for most people. Because you had to build big current era buildings (if you are in a higher age) and then run lots of productions, which you have to complete with a Finish All Supply Productions item. And this repeats itself several times. I had to use 5 Finish All Supply Productions items and I have 15 current era production buildings, so I was well equiped to deal with the quests. But others don't have my resources and space. Then there were the fun tasks of "Win 35 battles without losing" without GBG being open. Battling your hood has never been more stressful. I did complete all 3 Rivals of the Summer event but it was hard. Very few of my guild managed to do it.

Sadly you can no longer stack coin or supply boosts over 10 at a time. I manage 29 cities and when a city crossed into SAM and I opened the Rocket Testing Site I would take a full day and take my coin inventory from 50M to 30B using Urban Houses and my supply from 25m to 4B. I was able to do this over 18 times. Now it is impossible but I can still get to 5B coin and 3B supply to get me to Titan Age. I am Phoenix Sin in all US worlds

I'm in the same place you are. I have 16K+ Perm Drones and 10K+ rogues. My TRAZ gives 89 permafrost drones daily. I'm considering removing my TRAZ, Perma Barracks, CC, Kraken, CDM, OBS and CoA. Special Event and Settlement buildings more than replace attack/defense for both armies.

Why do you leave injured troops in play verses swapping them out for fresh ones?

I in the same boat where you were before cleaning house. Land locked and building inv on special blds. The KRA is 4th GB on my list to delete. Will remove COA, TRAZ, CdM, CC. TRAZ also removes need of 5x5 barracks.

Newbie here, slowly gaining traction, and this episode really has a lot of good content for me. I literally don't know how I got into my guild, lol, but it seems like a good fit if my ranking is any sign. I'm not very good at reaching out, and it took me a while just to look at and figure out the message board. Just now trying to learn how to do guild swaps, and trying the settlements again. I guess I joined just as a lot of changes occurred a few months ago- the settlements, GvG, QE; it's been a lot to digest! Appreciate the content, Cheers!

As a newbie (about 4 mo.) I really appreciate the clarity of your videos and for me, interested in your digressions because it helps fill in the gaps! I've been thinking lately about the subject pf GB's and what I need, so my CC is on the block (I need to stop buying things just because I can :^P). One question, at what point do military buffs stop being helpful? I got stuck the other day in GE lv 4, and went into inventory and added a 300 on off. and 300 on def. and it didnt change the outcome at all. Thanks for the videos, Cheers!

I very quickly deleted my traz after gaining some great event buildings. My city is only 5 months old and I already produce 165 troops a day from event buildings not including double batches thanks to BG.

What kind of insane stats do you need to be doing 10,000 fights in a single GBG season?!?!?

Pushing the main trio of fighting buildings from 69 to 80 only results in a _cumulative_ increase of 15 attack and defense. It's such a huge investment of FPs for very little in return. You can get that by throwing down about TWO cider gardens that also pay you FPs. Much better to do that and use your FPs to level the Blue Galaxy to get fragments quicker, AO, Arc, and Seed Vault for diamonds.

if yall still haven't removed the GBs that got "obsolete", don't consider doing it. Inno has announced that they will tweak them in order to keep them more in line with new event buildings and power creep

Get rid of ToB and LoA. With all the event buildings having massive attack and def, are the CdM and CoA even worth keeping?

I really don't like that so many people in my guild are camping industrial and progressive era just for hover tanks. It seems like such a boring way to play the game. I'm surprised Inno has let it go on this long because it hurts their monetization. People who don't age up can't unlock more city tiles through research. The lower era players have no space to buy and place all of the new expensive event buildings.

Inno has mentioned they plan to close the loopholes for the advanced units in Indy/PE it was never intended to be available but resourceful people figured out the hack. So there is a time limit to the advanced units. No hard date yet.

InA is better with Turtles+Rail Guns (be sure to fight the last provinces of FE to get them)

You forgot to mention the TA is trash compared to the Hydra as its 10 squares larger and the same cost to reward outcome!!!!!!

it has been a while since this vid is out. have you thought about making another one in terms of how the current dynamic of the game is changing into...? and the event building revamps...and all the differences compare to where you were with this vid at the time. i believe alot of newbies would like to hear from your pov about all the things you mentioned but in the current time. thanks Bon

Deleted my Traz, no hesitation. I'm a cash player and so many special buildings produce units now. I have 81k Rogues and 2k Titan troops. Recent buffs to Settlements buildings and recent special event building make Traz worthless.

Negative happiness you talk about not caring. But what about needing Happiness for future event quests ??

I don't understand why we don't have a list of buildings that will provide current armies when leveled to the next era.

Inno caught on to GE4 trick. Last rival quest in Beta you needed to finish all 80 in GE to auto finish those quests.

Mailia told me I was too generous. I only have 6 million points but I am one of the leaders of a diamond league guild on us29 Dilmun. I regularly give out forge points for contests for GBG, QI, holidays, etc. Just yesterday I dumped like 150 fp on someone's Arc for no reason just to be generous because it was lvl 6, flipped to 7. Wasn't even a guildie, I had just added him to friends to take some trades he had posted. I spend a ton of FP helping others even though I am not super well setup. But that is how I like to play the game. I was in a guild once on us22, Wyld Pixie Sanctuary, where they did weekly random trivia for 500 forge points and monthly challenges for other things. Loved all those rewards as one of the lesser players in the guild. And now I'm building that experience for others

Just been announced that completing GE4 will NOT autocomplete tasks. You have to complete GE5 from Monday. I am yet to try GE5 so in trouble now.

PvP fights and those on the continent map also count when you need to do fights. You can buy extra PvP fights fairly cheaply with medals

26:20 The CF should also stay if you think you will be playing into the next era, when it comes out. A big CF buff helps a LOT when advancing through new era technologies. It's not just for recurring quests.
