No one scraps a vehicle for brakes they're a service item, callipers are rebuilt. You don't scrap a working van because you don't want to tax it, this story makes no sense.

I hope you at least get a refund on the unused months of tax. I'm sure there would have been a solution to the caliper problem such as getting the old ones reconditioned. I do all my own repairs so I don't have much dealings with mechanics but a lot of them are only interested in easy options.

2.4 non turbo, that will go forever just not very quickly. The auto boxes are also very reliable. I don't think there would have been a shower in there, not common in campers and like you say there's electric in that room. Make sure you get a 30mb regulator for the gas (most bbq and gas heater ones are 27mb) or your toast that you don't eat wont get brown. 😂 I think that cupboard opens out to allow easy access to the gas bottle.

Hi Ziggy and thanks for bravely sharing this sad tale 😢 One thing you don't know about me is that I have a passion project outside of work. I am the bloodstock agent for our local racing stable. Horse racing is an emotional roller coaster. We welcome beautiful horses. They are loved and cared for but the circle of life continues and eventually we have to say goodbye. We had a great champion in the yard who won at the highest level at Aintree. Ashleigh Brook was his name. Last year we had to finally say goodbye at 25 years old. In his later life he was mentor to a young horse, Boris. Yesterday I watched young Boris on the gallops. It was a magnificent sight. The circle of life continues and with it comes joy and sadness. We'll talk more on our Brean Down adventure ❤

You have every right to feel tearful. I'm not much of a cryer either, but even I almost shed a tear hearing this. You both have put in so much time, effort and money into her, your heart and soul, some might say. I'm so sorry it's come to this. 😢 I hope you end up with the best camper van after all this. Hi - sorry to here the sad news but unfortunately campervans are bottomless money pits- I feel exactly the same about my Walter so I feel for you I truly do. My Walter is my pride and joy but he's 30 yrs old but the best thing I've ever owned- t4s are cool and an ideal size for you or both of you. I'm biased 😆 but I'd go for that as parts are readily available new or 2nd hand everywhere. I'm in a very similar predicament but I'm the one who's terminal with unknown certainties so again I feel for you both. Thanks for this post Ziggy. It's answered a lot of questions I had so I won't pester you this evening. I'm so happy that Steve looks well. My news is that after 6.5 years the carnivore way has brought my knees back. I am now walking the 1.7 miles to work and back every day. I will definitely be ready for our challenge next month. I'm so looking forward to it. 🙂

The problem men face on a Carnivore diet is Non-organic meats contain chemicals, pro-hormones, and antibiotics you will ingest. These items will alter your Estrogen levels thereby lowering your Testosterone levels. This will increase body fat, decrease energy levels and alter Cortisol.

I got discouraged when I did not lose any weight on Carnivore... I found out that I can not even eat one teaspoonful of any carbs or I go off the rails. Also... I can not eat any eggs, bacon, or cheese, or cream. To lose I have to eat a lot of beef fat, beef and lamb and not much else. You can not eat anything at all other than carnivore if you want to lose the weight. Not one spoonful.

Are 80% of your calories coming from fat? That can be the cause, if you are not being careful to eat enough fat. Also, I've finally decided that if I "cheat," it will be with an animal product like full fat cottage cheese or sour cream. You know, something that is not really conducive to losing weight but is still carnivore.

chin up! you are doing great! I'm the same...a menopausal lady, you may need to eat more not less. eat enough so snacks are not required. i also started taking a beef organ supplement because i do not like organ foods, this has helped clear up a couple deficiencies... hope this helps!

You have my sympathy. The highest stress factor in my life is vehicles and driving. When we meat up I'll tell you about Bambi vs the Vauxhall Agila. A sad end to both. On Saturday me and lainy went to Honiton market. Big mistake! Fookin' A303 🤬😡 I was losing the will to live. I was so stressed that I suffered a massive cortisol release. It triggered my old neuropathy in my left thigh. I haven't felt that since my Diabetes day. It ended up with a fall as my leg gave way after too much vino. No harm done. Good news is that we got some excellent pork, venison and sausages off the market stalls. 😋
