Frank Zappa - Amnerika
The studio version of Amnerika from the album Civilization, Phaze III. In my opinion this is one of the most amazing pieces of music ever written, and this is surely the best version of it.

I love it when the trumpet plays the improvised countermelody to the sax
WES 👂👂👊👊👊👊
This is Wes at full power!! Superstar 🌟 who could not be denied!
these guys were brave explorers, these are gems we treasured as Sacred Secrets. Superbe in every way: harmony, rhythm and melody to outer spaces
without a harmony instrumenr like piano guitar vibes etc after 10 minutes im totally bored great playing but its not enough sorry
Simply put timeless wonder. Seems like it was recorded yesterday
From Linden, TX. The OG showman playing guitar behind his back while doing the splits and plying with his teeth before anyone else and that’s just the trimmings. His guitar style is so soulful and gritty as well as his voice. 100% Legend
anyone here knows the rat meme?

Wes Montgomery phrases like a drummer. guitar fav.
When Frank gave Gail Civilization Phase III, not long before his death, it is told that he said to her: "That's it. I don't have anything more to say," or something to that effect.
He was so handsome, I’m pissed he got plastic surgery.

This piece is particularly calming

The one and only, original, self taught, used his thumb as not to wake his family as he taught himself,my God, Wes
God , I love Wynton.
This song belongs in a final dungeon in a final fantasy game or something. Makes me feel mysterious and adventurous and also uneasiness.
It is one of the first solo albums that "Alien" Holdsworth has recorded. Everything you hear as being played from a keyboard is actually played on Sinth-Axe, one of the first guitar-synth prototypes ever made (the company then went bankrupt). When you start listening to the piece it is easy for you to think "what the hell is this music". Strange chords, bordering on cacophonous, musical pictographs from different worlds, beyond our earthly understanding. All immersed in an acid, strident environment, bordering on dissonance. Then a fact happens, when the solo starts (which looks like a keyboard but is not). It happens that a window opens where the party begins, the dances begin. It looks like a village festival dedicated to the patron saint of a village lost in the infinite vastness of some planet in the universe. The first part, the introductory one, seems almost dedicated to the religious aspect of the celebrations, to the oppressive heaviness of the rites, to the respect of the functions of who knows what cult. The second, on the other hand, when the dances, the secular celebrations of the common people are kicked off, perfectly describes the joy of the popular festival. So at least I feel it and I live it every time I listen to this piece again. I hope I haven't bored you. I recommend listening with headphones, to understand the skill and dexterity of the musicians involved ".
IMHO his besr record.
Expert level.

From Wes Montgomery, you can clearly here how he was a major influence on Jimi Hendrix and George Benson.
