I lost 7 kg within 3 months on it even though I had knee surgery and was not moving. I was trying to lose weight for so long😮 this is the only thing that helped. I lost interest in snaking and binge eating. I eat mostly ounce a day for dinner. I'm used to doing intermittent fasting but i did struggle with cravings. Where as the first week of starting elvanse I started shedding the weight simply by not feeling hungry like before 🎉🎉 the other benefit I saw was I was able to sleep better at night with out going 6 times to the 🚻. As for my adhd it did not kick in whatsoever 😢after starting with 30mg I'm on 100 and still not helping my adhd nore. Do i feel any improvement in focusing and getting tasks done. Also, my anxiety is still very bad😢 Towards the evening I feel the crash and my anxiety getting worse😢 I really don't know if I should switch to something else since I'm not responding to it. But on the other hand I'm really happy about the suppressed appetite and the 7kg I lost . Any tipps??

Had a horrific experience last night on my first (and last) time trying it. Each time I'd fall into sleep I'd hear an electric noise which also felt like a shock wave that would wake me up into a kind of weird sleep paralysis. It was horrific.

ROKU seriously needs to stop repetitively playing this commercial--speaking as an elderly person who's been on this anti-depressant and that anti-depressant since I was 35 and am now 70 and have had a TBI (one of the many reasons included in the long list of contraindications for this little gem of a drug!) (my being 70 is another one of the many reasons for NOT taking it, I'm sure!!) It comes on over & over& over again!! to the point where I want to cancel ROKU completely!! Originally developed as a surgical tranquilizer and tested on soldier/patients during the Viet-Nam war, and later widely used as a party drug (people used to call it Special K during those years,it is very hard to associate a definitive cure or success rate with a drug that has such a negative history---after all the years it's been used with little success, I wouldn't care if I ever saw this COMMERCIAL ever again!!! I remember it being touted as a animal tranquilizer as well!! Is the FDA crazy OR do they want to make us all crazy???

Not a game changing drug...SSRIs atypical or otherwise are regarded by many professionals as less effective than the old tricyclic antidepressants but safer in overdose with less severe side effects. The promo's for this drug makes it clear whose interests are involved and they aren't yours. They are naturally big pharma.

Just started today it’s a roller coaster I definitely hit psychosis and an overwhelming sense of impending doom but I felt “normal” today even tho I can’t sleep now and I felt extremely anxious, dizzy and nauseous all day but like my cognition was better even if I had total brain fog I was sticking to one thing it was like I was hyper fixating on every small task I put myself to with little procrastination and I could filter out so many stimulants that normally distract me. Unfortunately my anger issues have heightened on them and when I can’t filter out that obnoxious repetitive sound that’s always there for some reason? I get super frustrated

What do you mean by “net”…. the sane thing Peter Breggin, MD refers to in terms of these drugs filling the entire brain, or worse?…. HIS comments have gone in and out of “style,” but appear now to be considered vindicated by NIH (USA) and the general scientific community. Indeed, big pharma IS NOT developing many antidepressant drugs at present…. And there’s a reason. Instead, repackage THIS stuff for “on label included” patent-renewing (or extending) “new use.” It doesn’t work except by numbing ppl out. Which can at times be just what is helpful…. PRN, and RARELY. Like drinking alcohol.
