This is the Connection Church UA-cam Channel. It has all of our sermons since the beginning of the pandemic. We remain committed to bringing the word to those who need it even after everything we all been through.

Pastor Chris and Torri Light have been serving in ministry for more than 20 years starting as youth pastors, planting a church, and then becoming our lead pastors. Married 26 years with 4 children Amy, Torri Fay, Trent, and Jackie.

It All Leads to This
I want to take a fresh look at John 6. (Gleaning in the Word) The chapter begins with Jesus feeding the 5000 in Tiberias. The disciples set out from there to go up the coast to Capernaum while Jesus stays behind for some alone time in prayer. They get pushed out into the middle of the Sea of Galilee by a storm, so Jesus walks out to them on the water, calms the storm, and they head on to their destination. Jesus’ newish followers finally catch word he’s in Capernaum and catch up with him, not understanding how he got there. Jesus doesn’t satisfy their curiosity about his means of getting there. Instead, he addresses the condition of their hearts and starts to unpack why they are even looking for him. In a powerful way, Jesus progressively reveals truth to them. (Encouragement: If you’ve come to know Jesus as your Savior, you got it right!) We hope you enjoy!
