I live in Paris and I have a shoemaker friend who repairs those sandals on a daily basis and Hermès makes the quality lower and lower, year by year, I often see the interior of those sandals, there is cardboard… They cost around 20€ to make. I would never pay what they cost at the shop. You’ve been duped! This brand is a scam!!!

It’s completely the opposite for me. I’ve taken my Chanel bag for restitching & other issues & they’ve taken care of it & the bag is over 5 yrs old. While LV refused to fix my long wallet that was only used 2-3 times brand new. They also lost my bracelet that i had them sent for alterations. Took them nearly 4 months to refund me back after countless of calls. I’d never buy LV again. But in my experience, Chanel has been a lot better in terms of customer service.

They should be able to fix that for you if they are authentic. Hermès quality is impeccable and I’ve never experienced this on any of my shoes from them. Something like this happening so soon would raise a question to authenticity for me. I have a pair of Oran sandals in the same color that I’ve had for 2 years. Still look brand new
