A sunny afternoon flying my electric powered plane ends in disaster when I become disorientated from the glare from the sun. All ends well after the plane is recovered with my GoPro 3 Black Edition. Location is The Cape Range National Park, Exmouth Western Australia. Aircraft, Nine Eagles Sky Climber.

This is a comparison of the Sony Action Cam and the GoPro Hero 2. Both have excellent video quality however there are quite distinct differences in the color balances. The Sony has a more natural tones especially in the color of the vegetation where as the GoPro renders the color of the sea more true to life.

Spent a few days camping at my favorite hang gliding site Shelley Beach. Met one of the local flyers Dan and his lovely wife Sharna (do hope that's the correct spelling). Like me Dan hasn't flown for awhile so we agreed to meet up and get back into the harness. I strapped my GoPro2 onto his Fun190.

Well finally my wonderful summer has come to an end. The first year of my comeback to Hang Gliding. Thanks to everyone for the comments and advice. Recent landing mishap at Shelley Beach. Pilot loses his grip changing from the base bar to the uprights at the critical moment and was unable to recover.

This is a short grab from a recent flight. I didn't include the whole flight since there was not much new imagery from earlier flights.

Well after that almost disastrous last take off I make amends. This flight was to be the first with live commentary using my new GoPro2 with mic input. However I neglected to plug in the mic plug and so I've had to dub in the sound post production.

Believe it or not I had to work over Xmas so couldn't fly. However I did take these shots early afternoon before I had to go.

This is the third flight of my comeback to Hang Gliding. I got a 2hr. flight stacking up some height over Shelley Beach

OK here we go on my second flight after a break of 25 years. Still not confident enough to go prone.

After 25years I make my return to hang gliding.

My interest in hang gliding began after I saw this movie. It includes the opening scenes as well as some interesting footage of Stanwell Park Australia in the 1970's.
