Sir u have a 1986 honda fourtrax 250 and do yk how to take off the hub to get to the front brakes
you are correct on the vintage. it is an original. thats the model. i have aa 61 with a 7,5 hp kohler.yours may be a 62 or 63. few 61s had fenders.
how is the rear holdin up
I would love to restore that tractor I know an old man that's 82 years old that has plenty of those Motors and cylinder heads lying around that's what he used to do for a living I just got done sandblasting and powder coating a Cub Cadet 100 complete overhaul also got a guy down the road that has a 60 by 100 Pole Barn Building full of nothing but Cub Cadets let me know if you're interested in selling I'd like to make you a reasonable offer
We sell Idler Pulley and many different accessories that may fit your equipment. We're happy to offer you a product sample in exchange for a video review. Let me know if you are interested.
Id take someone on an offer like that for my lawn mower project

@user-nd5bx8fk6v i got a green craftsman LT1000 6speed with an 19.5 hp I/C opposed twin briggs and stratton project its not for racing or off road but i want to replace the drive pully cause i dont plan on putting a mowing deck back on it and a smaller pully in back to speed it up. Im making it useful as a utv and with a little cargo space idk if i plan on just doing videos of the project on my current channel or start a new channel for my bicycle and small engine repair service business for parts reviews and project and repair tutorial videos
@@greenmachine55 Got it. And just let me know how can I get to you.

Valves out of adjustment
Came out good in the front u can add a winch and put a blade on it
Blown head gasket
Yes we do
We're can I get new parts
Where can I find wheelwage? And wheels waits
Nice work getting it running! Those single cylinder over head valve intek engines have a known problem where the head gasket blows between the cylinder and the area where the push rods are. There isn’t much gasket surface area in that spot and it will pressurize the crankcase forcing oil up through the rings, valve guides, or even where the head gasket is torn itself. When it’s running you can open the oil cap and if there’s excess pressure coming out more than normal and if so it’s probably the head gasket. Have a rag ready because you will have some oil spray out, and probably more so if the head gasket is blown from the excessive pressure.
These are American made machines, get rid of those metrics. Get SAE wrenches and sockets for this stuff.
Also shouldn't have welded the diff. gonna make it harder to steer when going down the track
Good work, I can definitely appreciate your know how and perseverance on repairing the motors with spare parts from other stuff and getting everything to work together for a runner.
Them are all standard bolt sizes on them. Old garden tractors not millimeter
Cub cadet 100s were made from 1963 to 65
Them should be standard bolts
Them should be standard bolts, I have 20 Cub cadets and I don't have any 14 mm on any of mine
great old man
Nice it runs good after rebuild.. You make all things good.. Best Regards J.
Why TF would you remove the head to get it started! 9 times out of 10, the reason it won’t start is related to carb issues!
The spark plug hole stripped out
Right…it won’t run very well without the spark plug. You obviously can hear well you just don’t listen well. Anyway good job young man. Now I know it’s not very critical on torquing a flat head with minimal power. I’m glad you didn’t grab at the end of your ratchet. To do your “clicking”. lol Remember it’s not necessarily the exact in lbs. that matters when torquing something. It’s even amounts of in. lbs. or ft.lbs. Thats why having your torque wrench calibrated is not that critical. It’s even amounts that are critical. Man that is a sweet old rig.
Tight work
That caught me off guard 😂 4:33 "Click"
Nice work and that’s a pretty sweet old tractor
Trying to steal Pegs handle?
Thanks
14:02 Don't celebrate to soon.😮 If you are going to be any good at wrenching on anything, you better learn to clean up your mess! I was under the impression that the young bucks and lasses have a greater concern about the environment. 14:02 proves me wrong! Not just one large oil dump from earlier in the video, but there is clearly another dump on the ground at this point in the video. CLEAN UP YOUR ACT AND YOUR WORKPLACE! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Just FYI, they are called "opposing twins" not v-twin.
Nice work! That thing is so cool, I’m definitely gonna have to build me a mow cart!
That’s a good amount of work you’re putting in on that. And I noticed you’re mostly using hand tools and battery tools. I know what that’s like because that’s how I do things. Nice job on the spindles and I’ll be tuning in for part three next.
Sweet, will be watching this build!
That’s a pretty sweet looking old tractor! Checking out your channel, gonna hit that subscribe button!
sick man. Love IT!!!
. J.I. Case Garden tractors are easier to work on
Nice to have resources!
I have a 61 cub cadet original, runs and mows to this day. Tough little machine!
Thing about kohlers is they don't like to much choke. I just got an old 106 cub cadet IH going the other day. Put a new axle under it, cleaned out the tank. Put a better carb and sediment bulb on, and new gas and it fired right up. Smokes like crazy but it's old oil. Had to replace the head on it. 10 horse but I put a 12 horse head on. Works great. The spark plug wouldn't tighten down that's why I put a different head on. Good job with the tractor and have fun 👍
my 61 original has a rear hydraulic lift. its all original and runs great.
Do you use this as a gocart?
Always good to see young fellas getting involved in it., Stay with it young man
It’s a good day when you can save an old Kohler.
Yeah, first one.
first one
k bad ass!!!!! love it
Is PULL-TRACTOR KOHLER a 341 or Bigger?...
👍
I have a 1963 Cub Cadet 100. They are great little tractors. I just picked up plow and snow blade for it. I already had a mower deck and snowblower. Things a beast. I just need a creeper to slow down for blowing snow.
Great vid. This is quite the undertaking.
Good job. Those were good ole machines.
😎👍
