Well I've owned both. 2 totally different style of cars. Just depends on what you want. The gti is a better all around daily driver. The 5.0 feels quicker for sure, but lack of usable room and lack luster in bad weather

@koeit7981 u need vcds or obdeleven, it's a setting basically that can be changed. Being that urs is 2015, I would not doubt someone already changed it along the way lol. But yeah there's a world of modifications you can make to the electronics of the car with VCDS or Obdeleven
The problem is, it's skipping that quick but the wheels are just spinning and the car isn't actually going that fast because no traction... Thus the crappy part of power in FWD. Need more suspension work to get the power to the ground. Not hating, being realistic. I own the same damn car too , lol.

@@SimoneBenati I ran stage 1 for about 10k miles with zero hiccups at all, I've been stage 2 now for 13k miles with absolutely zero hiccups. The clutches had zero slip and the engine never felt over worked either. The mpg for me didn't change much, I averaged 32-33 on the highway regardless of the tune and driving it normally.
Honestly it feels great, you can tell both tunes were made to work together. The response and power delivery of the trans is spot on. I feel like the dsg tune is as, if not more important than the ecu tune
I'm DSG, I went with the dsg flash tune along with the ecu. Reliability has been spot on. Honestly the transmission feels much less stressed after the tune

Although Stage 2 is appealing for the crack and pops. I'm just worried about over all reliability. Might just start with stage 1 then go from there.
@@macaulayculkin5022 I started with stage 1 and loved it man. These cars are pretty reliable with a reputable tune. Just make sure you check your fluids and get your oil to operating temp before making a pull. You wont regret it!

It's an apr catted dp, with a muffler and res delete. After driving around with this setup a few days I ended up installing an apr res...sounds much better it was ridiculously loud lol

Hey is yours a 2015-2017? I noticed you have traction kicking on in 3rd gear. You need to turn off starting vibration reduction via OBDEleven or VCDS.
Oh I turned it off about a month after the video, really helped too!

When I was stage 1 depending on APR's discounts and deals, I paid like 600 or 700 for the tune I believe. I already had an intake and exhaust

Integrated engineering tune pulls harder and makes less whp than APR.
That's a big negative lol. I've been in multiple IE cars.
