Id love to do this in a sailboat. The mixture of old and new technological achievements would be awe inspiring.
I wonder why Africa has not invented this yet. Since they were kangs n stuff
falta do que fazer ...
...........designed and built by Butterly Engineering from Ripley, Derbyshire..........sadly now gone!!!.....saw it being made in the factory and have ridden the finished article.....marvellous piece of engineering!!!!........
Merry Christmas

That's such a brilliant idea. It doesn't matter how heavy the ships are as long as they fit within the dimensions; the ship lift will always be balanced, even if there's no ship on one side. This means the motor that rotates the ship lift only has to overcome the friction of the bearings.
огонь, очень интересное решение.

McLaren Models @1:23. They had that white Astra Van pretty much up until the shop closed I think.
Canal locks, the next generation!
Strong Fallout 76 vibes on this one.
Спасибо ❤ шикарный пролёт!!!
God...the music..... hu-hu-hu-hu....hu-hu-hu-hu-hu-huuuuuu So important. So essential.
Yes, it’s really hurt the viewing numbers. Only managed to get to 31million. I’ll try and do better.
Cool, wa? 😃
Well worth a visit. Also near by the Kelpies
Should have never taken away silver row the old Met hotel yes but should have kept the lay out and never built that new calender centre which is a disaster only Falkirk council could come up with smh
QUE invenção incrível. Show de bola.

Did they do this just to make it look awesome or is there an actual reason you couldn’t just connect the two using a slope?
Безупречно ❤😊
Great video ....abysmal soundtrack 🙆🏻♂️🤣
Yes, I wanted something that sounded a bit post-apocalyptic 😂
Nice capture well done 👏
Такое возможно? Чудеса
Quite impressive vision and engineering, I had to watch it a couple of times to appreciate it.

“Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind.” Winston Churchill: casually summing up Scottish innovation across the span of more than a couple of millennia.
Absolutely incredible machine. Even the engineering leading from the tunnel in the hill to the upper deck of the wheel is marvelous too.
👍
Nice place see you girls

Can't tell if it's a lock or a roadway. WTF?
It’s a sophisticated canal lock to link 2 canal waterways 😊
@@Scotdrone Ok, got it now, thanks!, it looks like the top one has an incline into the forrest.
Сейчас зайду там камин топится😊
Спасибо за видео, очень хотела попасть внутри замка🎉🎉🎉
100% get where you’re coming from, there’s a lot of people with rose tinted glasses when it comes to Falkirk town centre, I grew up in the 80s/90s and can confirm there was a lot of boarded up buildings covered in bill posters, demolition and construction was everywhere and so many roadworks! But there was also a lot of happy memories of birthdays in Burger King and Pizza Hut , Xmas parties in the red balloon restaurant, going to the toy shop in manor street, spending my first wage packet at John Menzies and hmv, meeting friends and hoping my crush would make an appearance in the howgate, all of which was done while all around there was shops going out of business and another building being condemned, but what would I give for another stroll round the in shops and a bag of chips from moscardinis
100% unnecessary, not cost effective at all, not good engineering, just a carnival ride, What about a water channel roundabout or just building the station up the hill instead, i can think of several different ways that could have been done with out the carnival ride, this is just to attract tourism to a otherwise broke economy due to the peoples inability to generate tax revenue for the city, county or state, Morons !
It is completely cost effective, because the whole thing is in equilibrium. As such, it only takes a small amount of energy to rotate. There were reasons that they settled on this design for the circumstances, and not something like a "water channel roundabout" (which actually is a stupid idea). And building the station elsewhere doesn't solve the problem of needing to get boats from one elevation to another lol.

My cousin lives in Wroclaw.Place is like a fairy 's tail..
I would love to visit again when the Christmas market isn’t on as the city seemed to be really beautiful 😊
@@Scotdrone In 1997 Poland's Millennium Flood affected Wroclaw badly.People were sitting on top of buildings playing cards and waiting for water level to go down. After city got rebuild.Awesome what they have done really.🇵🇱
Considering the mixed and smaller size of the stones used to make up the original bottom level, I amazed that the weight of the later upper floors added did not bring the whole thing down not long after they were built. Still, it is too bad it was not maintained over time. I wonder if there are any paintings or tapestries from the earlier times that might show what some of the rooms looked like then.
The stones are small, but the walls are usually very thick. It's the mortar that brings it all together and gives it it's strength. You can see a detail of how they did those wall on the channel that is rebuilding a Chateau. Escape from Rural France is doing it himself so you get to see how it was actually built so long ago.
😮 SPECTACULAR!! Scotland is my #1 bucket list places to see. 🫶🏼
