So, with the change in on the ground efforts, and a few days to percolate, Here's where I'm at and where I hope to focus.
Basically, regroup on my own property, which I have full control of, and which is large enough to keep multiple people fully engaged, if fully utilized. It is intended to be a location of instruction, inspiration, experimentation while becoming ever more abundant, based on Permaculture ethics and principles.
What I learn, and share from here on a small scale, I hope to be able to utilize on a much larger scale at some unknown point in the future on land I will likely inherit, and eventually pass down to.... someone. All the while learning from and sharing with others in the area, things they can put to abundant use on their property, be that hundreds of acres or an apartment balcony.
If at some point, once we have a core of 3-5 like minded, motivated people it makes sense to begin another "community garden" effort within a population center, that will happen, however first comes the people, the "community" in "community gardening", and only then will the garden part follow. I've had the cart before the horse for too long.
