My problem is I don't have the materials to make another ship at this point. Fine if you have 2 or 3 boats, I spent all I had on that karve, now lost, with all my stuff, and no practicaly way for me to get back unless I spend hours getting more iron. I'd rather be given a cheat at this point, as it's a massive waste of time for me to spend time catering for a bug in the game

I don't get the complaints either. It's developed by wayforward and they made Contra 4. It can't possibly be bad right? Hey at least it's traditional Contra and not that Rogue corps crap. Yeah the graphics ain't nothing special but it's Contra. They don't have to be unless they're trying to be modern but that never works out anyway.

There's two major problems with the Switch version of this game that keep me from recommending it: input delay & performance stuttering. My jumps felt delayed after pressing the button, and the game occasionally halts and snaps back to the action. I strongly argue that is unacceptable for a game like Contra, which demands quick reflexes and split-second decision-making. Steam version doesn't have these problems, thankfully.

I did the same thing, got everything to build the sloop and then realised it was a small ship, went with the same ship as you, best decision, beast of a ship, and the mortar wrecks the other ships can't wait to have an upgraded one haha
