Hello everyone!
My name is Antoni Conteddu and I am a lure maker.
I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Sardinia, Italy, hence my unbridled love for fishing. This, combined with my passion for airbrushing and woodworking, took me to the most logical conclusion: making lures.
I created this channel to share my journey into lure making, and to be a source of inspiration for those approaching this peculiar craft, and wishing to improve their building and painting skills. So please keep an eye on this channel to get lots of useful tip and tricks about lure making!

In today’s video, I will make a wooden stand for fishing lures, but not just any lure, my most precious one! But above all, I am putting the whole set up for auction on eBay! (see link above). In order to match the finishes of the lure, the arms of the stand will be covered in gold and mother of pearl, which will make for the ultimate collector’s set. Not only that, it will be an great opportunity to revisit techniques such as milling wood, gilding with gold leaf and lining with mother of pearl, aka nacre. Enjoy the process!
