Cayenne Seat Belt Replacement
Переглядів 1,1 тис.8 місяців тому
We had a tear in the driver's side rear seat belt so we replace it in this video with a used one off of ebay. It's been working well with no issues but it does seem to have an odd design that I haven't seen on other belts. Thanks for watching, Please Like and Subscribe. Where I've Been

I've missed making UA-cam videos. I lost a lot of video files for videos I hadn't gotten around to editing, along with the normal stresses of life I haven't had the motivation to make anything new but I'm back and excited to continue this automotive journey with everyone that wants to watch. Thank you to everyone that's subscribed over the years, posted kind and helpful comments, and liked the ...
Changing the Look of the Z
Переглядів 175Рік тому
This was filmed a while ago but I came across this footage and decided to edit a video out of it. I tested out plasti dip and vinyl wrap for the first time on this vehicle. The combination of everything doesn't look great so I remove it all which is the benefit of plasti dip and vinyl wrap and return the vehicle to it's OEM color of Black. I'm sure I'll be changing the look again soon though. T...

Link to video on how to replace trunk shocks: ua-cam.com/video/Pb6e1ljyyzw/v-deo.html&ab_channel=KamalAkeel In this video I explain why 1st gen Cayenne trunk shocks are known as a common fail point and how to prevent that as they seem to fail more often than they should. Cayenne Side Skirt Water Drain
Переглядів 949Рік тому
In this video I show how to address the issue of water being stuck in the frame/body of first gen Cayenne's with side skirts. The side skirt prevents easy access to the rubber drain. The bracket that holds the side skirt on actually covers this rubber part making it difficult to drain trapped water and clear out or clean the rubber drain. I correct the issue by drilling a hole in the area where...

0:43 mine did it just right now but immediately after starting it... turned it off and back on snd gone. Previously it did but one sec and gone, today is stayed on man.... And I live in Puerto Rico, is 80 degrees at the moment. I can't say is the weather
Going to give this a try today, as everything looks like it should be the same as my 2013 Mazda 3. Hopefully makes it a lot quicker swap out for the blower motor. Cheers
Hello, my vehicle is V8 4.8 S panamera At first start-up, there is a strong smell of gasoline coming from the exhaust and this smell continues from time to time, but there is no fault record Could my problem be the canister valve? There is also a slight fluctuation in the tachometer. I would appreciate it if you could give me information. I wish you a good day.
Question Hood latch cable on the driver side do you know what it's for? My hood won't close I think the cable on left is my problem.
I've hit a roadblock with that top screw for (whatever) by the gas pedal. I can't get both arms in to press on the screw and turn the ratchet at the same time... Might have to try it blind and feel for it. Oh well, at least I have my truck as back-up for a vehicle to drive.
I just repalced my wire harness but couldn’t figure out why the lights were working with the headlight locked in. On the passenger side you need to remove the air box and then you can apply pressure from behind and push the electrical connection together. Pushing just from the headlight side pushes the plastic cable holder further back and it did not ever seat successfully for me.
Thanks for this video! I would like to contribute a tip. The new damper is a bit too long to fit and hard to compress manually. I am certainly not strong enough to compress it with my hands. But I used a small bar clamp to compress the damper after attaching the top. I just had to compress it by about half an inch/one centimeter to get it to line up with the ball at the pedal. Then it was easy to snap in place at the pedal end!
Please help me sir I need a job
Please I am electrical engineering please I need a job
Good job
Nice one
Ok so I use an eye glass flat head , got it.
Very helpful, well explained, camera view of him working on the camshaft position sensor harness is great. A+ I'll do that.
How did the rockauto parts hold up?
@@dewetwalter still running these same axels to this day.
@@kamalakeel thanks!
Just did the idler and tensioner on my CX-7. These are a fucking bitch. There is like no room to work . Usually have to undo the motor mount and jack up and down the engine. Dont know about the speeds but the CX-7 is a dirty dirty whore. Fuck the tensionera on these motors are a bastard too. You literally have to fully extend them to get the belt back on. Lol fuck im glad i dont have to mess with this again gor a while.
Easy replacement, thank you! I did not have to remove the glovebox, just went in from under.
Thanks for showing me where that drain plug is. The diagram in the manual is not very good.
Thanks much...I need to get this as just bought a 2018...
OMG bro you’re a life saver. I have a 2009 cayenne s , I have that same problem.
What are the benefits of doing this and is there a specified mileage i have a 08 HR on 80k miles need to do my diff too
Its 3 and 1/8 qt. That's why three quart bottles wasnt enough to flow out the fill hole.
I removed the carpet on mine and the next day, I added it back on. lol I also switched from leather seats to cloth seats. Its about 18lbs difference.
What paint and color did you use? I have a 2005 and need to repaint my racks, as well. Thanks:)
Do you know the torque specs for the rod internal that grabs the inner gears
LMAO I should have found this video a couple weeks ago, your video was recommend like 2 weeks after this was fixed on my z 😂
Why can't all videos be thus fast and to the point
You're the man...thx
2016 cayenne turbo with P0455. It was the vent purge valve . Had shop diagnose and part was only $117 at Autohauz. Starts and runs like new now . Code gone
Legend 🙏
What part did you push up?
Thanks big time! I hate using the pinch welds as one of mine is slightly bent now. I appreciate the detail of getting under the car and showing where exactly you can place the jack!
Great video, thank you
Doing this on Friday. Thank you for the video!

Simple and brilliant! I have a GTS and wondering how to do this. Heading in to fall I had a bad feeling of my floor board feeling up with water again
I’m a tech at Mazda my master tech today told me I HAD to remove the dash to get to it so did the other videos on yt luckily I found yours and I did a job that pays 12 hours in 4 thank you for your video sir
Where do you lift the car so you can put the stands at the lift point??
Have the same thread engagement on mine. Are the stock studs still okay, causing any issues?
@@grainer3878 I’ve had no issues so far. If you torque them well I don’t think you’ll have any issues either.
Tip to everyone, some clips are made to be one-time-use on this, particularly the orange and blue ones. Be careful and have some on order or buy ahead of time in case they're damaged.
salam Kamal, my mechanic just broke the plug without taking a photo for the wiring, i bought a new one but i don't know which wire should be on the right, middle and left sides, any idea ?
I have been searching forever! Thank you
You never showed crank both of those are Cam and the crank sensors plug is different
Yeah not a good idea to cut the wires. Better to repin . Splicing can change the voltage to the sensor. Each sensor needs specific voltage for each sensor
Great video! Finally replaced my broken plug. Had the replacement plug for years.
Great video I just did this but you actually don't have to remove the ground. One less thing to unplug and plug in since it's fairly cramped in there. Just pop off the two metal hooks and swap out the bulb. Took like 5mins.
