The customer had a problem with the refrigerator, the water dispenser, ice maker does not work. The power wire in the hinge connection has been damaged. Unfortunately, for LG refrigerators, the wires are completely foamed inside the door, and cannot be replaced separately. I had to replace the left door completely.

Only one switch was not working for the customer. Some models, the switches are assembled together. Sometimes the installation can be quite complicated. Especially when you need to protect floors from damage, it complicates and increases the time of the project.

I watched yiur video, looks easy enough. I have taken the rotor off and have it exposed but that white bearing is like solid stuck on the shaft is that normal? I see yours move freely?
If by the white bearing you mean the Coupling Assembly itself, then it should come out freely, make sure you have unscrewed all the screws.
That looks like a great way for a refrigerator repairman to inevitably get lung disease, just like coal miners do.
I observed that you put oil on the gear., What type of oil did you used?
In this particular case, I used this oil. Low viscosity. It doesn't really need lubrication. I use it so that the gears can easily rub in. And after a few cycles, it will work well. And this lubrication won't interfere in the future. a.co/d/3H56h8W

Did you have to re-use and then re-install the water line from the original door?
Yes, you can see the white hose in the video. You will have to remove the hose and reinstall it in the new door. Although I may not remember well. Perhaps the door already comes with a hose assembly. I'm sure some models have a special passage for changing pipes. But this model may have tubes with wires filled in foam.

Not only did I replace the old part with a new one. This is a real client with a real washing machine, and after the replacement, everything worked for the client. I don’t make fake videos. There’s no point in doing so when it works, and you deal with this kind of work every day.

In your case, it sounds like you have a worn bearing.
If you just spin the drum by hand and a strange noise is heard. This means the bearing is worn out.

Yes steam. It makes sense when customers cook a lot, and lint stock and dust sticks to the coil due to the oil layer that settles over the years. A regular vacuum cleaner cannot pick up this dust.
