I know a lot of people hate yellow face for the same reasons as pillow, but theres a MASSIVE difference. Yellow face has stopped being a massochist since tpot 9, it pretty much was only really bad at tpot 7/8 with his team sabotage and menace nature. He actually had development too, with his sacrifice for his team in TPOT 14 and how helpful he was in the climax that episode, theres actually a consistant effort to make him likeable again, unlike with pillow. I can definitely see why people dont like him, as hes very abrasive and im sure he can be annoying to most, but dont compare him to pillow because he is NOT on pillow’s level.

I dislike her sm, I understand why people like her but she is my least favourite character in all of BFDI. Her murder thing was funny at first but in my opinion it’s getting old and boring, I don’t even think anyone in the actual show likes her either 😭

I completely disagree with the whole “pencil is a bad influence on match” when it is literally the other way around. After match got eliminated in bfdia 5 pencil started becoming more nice without match and is making it far in bfdia and in idfb we can see that she realizes that she is better off without match when she calls her needy but suddenly in bfb when pencil is finally back with match we can see her start acting mean again and after pencil got eliminated she started becoming better again and she even lead the exitors to escape and even split off from match. Match isn’t able to function without pencil which explains how she acts in bfb. But pencil is fully capable of functioning by herself without match which is why I truly believe that match is a bad influence on pencil

Finally, someone who understands. Match is way better without Pencil, and Pencil keeps getting glazed rn, and it’s so dang annoying. She’s actually my favourite E.X.I.Tor, and it’s so annoying why people misunderstand her.

this is the reason why Pillow is still in the game. She isnt that useful and usually is the reason why the team loses the challenges. Even robot flower in tpot 7-13. Its as if they like meaner characters because they are either shipped or just oh! We like them because they practically did nothing and get more screen time!

I hated Match before she was bossy, but I then liked her.

I know match apologized to bubble but I still can’t forget how much of a jerk she was. That’s like how if your bully at school apologizes to you as if they expect you to forgive them after so much, well, bullying.

I really miss Bfdi and early Bfdia Match, Pencil and Bubble. You could tell that despite that Match and Pencil had their sassy moments, the 3 were genuine friends and cared about eachother. Sadly however, Satomi's writing is cannon so what I think happened in Freesmart is that sometime in Bfdia, since Pencil had this role of team leader, she slowly felt the need to have to put up this character of being "team leader" towards everyone else. I say this because you can tell that in some moments of Bfdia you can tell that Pencil genuinly has a good time with the rest of her friends, but then out of nowhere she becomes strict again as if she forgot that she HAD to put up a character. Later though, during Bfb, after so much time of having to put up a character of being Freesmarts boss she snapped. And that character completely overun her personality and hence why she acts very different. And as Match sees this, she tries being like her, and once Pencil is eliminated she feels the need to be her but once Bubble snaps she realizes that what she was doing wasnt right and apologizes. Sadly, before she can show that she truly changed for the better she got eliminated. Then tpot 11 happened, and those 7 years trapped in the exit gave Pencil time to reflect on how she was and became a better person. I think this was only possible because Match was able to tell Pencil about what happened between her and Bubble allowing Pencil to finally come back to her senses and realize what she had done to her friends. This is evident with her even showing that she cared for Bracalety when she got hurt. The only thing im still confused about is why Pencil acted like she did to Match in bfdia 14. I felt so bad for Match. Maybe it all ties back to Pencil having to put ul this character but who knows?Hopefully we get to know the reason why that happened.

Match's personality in bfb is good but was a bit poorly executed

Fun fact: Match and Pencil haven't competed together in a challenge since 2017. And in Bfdia, Match got out early (in episode 5) Both her and pencil seem to be magnets for hate, for no reason. (Both are great characters)

Honestly, after rewatching BFB 11 and TPOT 14, I could honestly say that Match is one of my favorite characters as of now in BFDI as a whole. I think BFB 11 really made her better, and Pencil getting out. I swear, if Fanny got eliminated, she would've been so boring.

Low-key I never got the hate Match got like people really need to go back and rewatch her scenes to show how different she is from Pencil despite them being so similar. Still never forgiving that stupid piece of folded paper ruined a potential arc between her and Bubble in BFB but hopefully that continues in TPOT

Match got cooked by Satomi's writing. In my opinion, Match is supposed to be a teen girl stereotype. She cared for her friends, while being rude and sassy to everyone else. With a side of laziness tacked on. I found her character funny. However... Everything changed when the Satomi writing attacked. She got completely changed in BFB. Losing most of her unique traits. I barely remember anytime I liked Match's rudeness. She was flanderized too all hell, only being pencil's follower, and then pencil 2.0. And due to how terrible Pencil was, Match lost all the things I liked about her. She become petty, overbearing, bossy, and annoying, in all the wrong ways. I think a character with these can be great, if done right. But Match, due to Satomi's supposed hatred to the alliance, got completely stripped of all the things that made her unique. Just being a mess of negative traits without any comedic effect. Or at least what I think personally. She was way better in the exit, having seemingly ridded of Satomi's omen of hatred. Sam Thornbury. really changed Match for the better. Reverting her back to her BFDI(A) style of character.
