Thank you PamPam for your kind words It’s not easy tbh 🥺😢 But I realize that I have to work even harder to keep up with good grades and keep an open communication with both my professors and military leaders to maintain a balance between both sides. And God’s Grace definitely has been seeing me through!

With this ticket I purchased, I was able to check in 2 of these 23kg bags, as well as one carry-on.

Hello Toyin, I used the Turkish airline and at the time, it was the cheapest I could get but it came with a much longer layover and the experience with the airline wasn’t all that great tbvh! I had just one layover at Istanbul airport leaving from Lagos, Nigeria. And from Instabul, straight to Houston. Overall, I tried to make the best of out my trip!
These are all great tips. Also love your look in this video! In Nigeria I didn’t think twice about making friends, I was in boarding school it just happened naturally. I’m still great friends with all my friends there and my best friend. Here, I’m around many Americans and while I do hang out with them occasionallyI still don’t consider them my friends. I can’t tell them personal stuff about myself because idk I can’t relate to them and vice versa. Do you feel like you’ve built a solid community of friends since you moved here? I feel like if I was around Nigerians my age range this really wouldn’t be an issue. I think I’m getting to the point where I just won’t try anymore lol. It’s not by force, just looking to see if maybe it’s just me that’s struggling.
Hello Funmi, Thank you for sharing! I also have a similar experience finding it difficult to share so much with my American friends due to different cultural values. However, I have realized that the diversity does make a difference in our interactions, because there’s so much for us to share and learn from our individual experiences. I still have my Nigerian friends too that support me the way I desire in our Nigerian kind of way. Overall, I am still navigating this friendship thingy in America because it’s clear that the lifestyle and mindset here is mostly individualistic but one can still experience and enjoy the joys of true friendship! 🫶🏽❤️
Oh wow I’m watching all of your videos. Did you really move? I would love to move away from America, not even just the hustle culture. Just the fact that it’s been 7 years and I’m still yet to make good reliable friends like I have in Nigeria. Lack of community, loneliness. It sucks. Can you relate? Sometimes I feel like maybe it’s just me cause I’m not around many Nigerians my age. If you do move permanently, can you please make a video on how you did it and all that stuff. I totally get you! It could get lonely sometimes. I didn’t permanently relocate though. I just traveled out for a while. And I’m looking forward to traveling out of the U.S. more often whenever I do get the opportunity pending when I make the decision to finally relocate or something. And I’m glad you found something worthwhile here on my channel!

*researched for schools that offered not only affordability but good and strong alumni network especially for seeking employment after school *saved money for application fees and transcript evaluation *evaluated my Nigerian transcript *wrote GRE although they later scrapped it *started writing my SOP and seeking out recommendation letters *applied and prayed for God’s intervention

Ooh Congratulations 🎉 I’m in grad school and I’m not really sure about college application but you may also need to evaluate your WASSCE, probably write SAT, and you won’t just gain entry into nursing school directly. You may need to apply to a pre nursing program first. I hope this helps.
