I've done it twice, I think, once at the memorial park and once at the alternative course. Parkrun tourism will start soon, so it's a possibility.

@@richardwilliams1921 Andover Parkrun and Winchester are two good flat parkruns i’m sure you’d enjoy.

I'd say it's better than the old course.

@@richardwilliams1921 Thanks for your reply. I walk dogs for a living, and I run with them if all the pack can handle it. I don't think I would want my dog attached to me, but I can see that it would be chaos if that many runners had their dogs loose. Our group did a run the other day and we had 5 humans and 6 dogs. After 30 minutes we settled into a nice rhythm, but it was tricky at the start. Happy New Year, and good luck with your running.

So it was you that overtook me! 😂

As tourists, we missed the relaunch at the request of the event team. We're going this Saturday, hopefully.

Fond memories of this day. Went down to visit our gran (rip) and i ran from the premier Inn on the edge of cambourne to the heartlands: arriving way too early but managing to get a vol token for set up. My sister finally took the opportunity to parkrun and we walked all the way back to spend the rest of the day visiting family members.

Thank you. This is my local and will probably be my regular for the foreseeable future.

Work to running longer distances while also aiming to get times down. Last training session should be 2 days before race.

@@richardwilliams1921, thank you for your answer - I agree.) One more question: it seemed to me that you fell at the finish line. Is it due to a decrease in muscle glycogen?

@@6663622 no, that's me removing the gopro from my head though i have seen people fall at the finish line.

Well it was a while ago but i think i was quite elated when i got sub 19.

This is 3 years old but if i cut 2 mins of my best time since parkrun restarted i should match it.

May start uploading again soon. Waiting for my times to go at least sub 21. Also got a 10k coming up.

Would be difficult to tell since they're not in uniform.

That's why i did set up and afterwards did a slow lap to get a better feel of the route.
