Very nice. I love it.
what are you using to reset ulti cd
Spirit boon, combined with the very high lucky hit chance in the build to proc it.
@@brianmarotta937 thankss
No problem happy gaming
A little trick i discovered to improve your damage is to go to any torment tier, unequip and re equip your heir of perdition and then go back to torment IV, now you should have 2 stacks of the buff which means 120(x) damage multiplier.
I did not want to base a build off any potential bugs. People can do that on their own after the fact. Lol
This is what I ran for a build. mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/profile/e3d45174-293f-4ac8-928f-1d8513cb8e87/builds/5621763d-ea41-4aa5-bed4-00c26a6d4484
This coming season I have plans for lightning storm claw. If they do not cap the amount of lightning bolts I can create with Stormclaw it should be nasty.
@@brianmarotta937 thats fair, as you said meybe next season with all the lightning this build could be improved, hopefully, fingers crossed.
This is the thing, if spirit born, and bugs did not exsist, this build is not bad compared to others. T85 is pretty decent considering most other builds, with out bugs, max out at 92 to 104. Just people have higher expectations due to broken spirit born, and bugs.
Cool, Stormclaw still needs a big buff
link gear?
I will try and make a mobalytics guide tonight if I am not too tired after work. Otherwise it will be up by the weekend.
i knew the buffs weren't going to be enough, still with my no mythic build i can do at least t4 and pit 65. I saw you did pit 85 pretty confortably, maybe you can push to 90-99, but it seems your build is extremely optimized so crone staff still needs way more damage to be viable for end game pushing.
Still no bad. 85 is respectable for a basic skill bruiser with no bugs being used. From what I understand pit 85 is equivalent to pit 170ish from last season. I could barely do pit 114 last season. So it is a step in the right direction. Would be nice to be able to do pit 100, with any fully optimized build.
@@brianmarotta937 yeah, don't get me wrong is pretty good but as you said, if you optimize your build and put in the effort you should be able to push further. Tomorrow is the season 7 ptr campfire, hopefully more buffs/reworks for classes other than spiritborn are coming.
Gear?
mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/profile/e3d45174-293f-4ac8-928f-1d8513cb8e87/builds/5621763d-ea41-4aa5-bed4-00c26a6d4484
That’s my current build
Gear?
That will have to wait until tomorrow. I am off to bed.
this build is so fun and cool, sadly still not competitive enough for end game farming. Have you tried tempest roar+lust for carnage+heightened malice legendary nodes combo?? with tempest roar your storm skills are also warewolf skills which means both stormstrike and cataclysm get a 50%(x) multiplier from lust for carnage, plus every crit poisons enemies due to toxic claws applying to stormstrike and cataclysm crits, meaning you have 100% uptime on heightened malice which is a 45%(x) multiplier. You can also add mad wolf glee but i think shroud of false death is too much damage and utility to pass though. Still, i would love it if you test this setup, i'm currently waiting on the mid season patch before coming back to the game. anyway, cheers man, keep ripping and tearing with those claws!!
Tempest was a net dps loss unfortunately. It make poisoning groups easier and that’s about all it brings to the table once you have Heir of Perdition. I still get lust for carnage bonus due to claw. Heir is constant 60x damage as well as massive lucky hit and crit chance.
@@brianmarotta937 ok, it sounded better in mind, but you are right, plus the affixes on tempest roar are atrocious. Hoping for decent buffs in the mid season patch.
It would be awesome if the changed the affixes on it to be more in line with Wolf, like attack speed, 15 percent DR while in wolf form, 45% chance to do double damage with storm skills, and max life or all stats.
Then it would be viable for all wolf storm builds and would compete with the mythics
Can you try a beastial rampage set up since last season I first use natures fury then swapped to beastial rampage and my dps nearly doubled so it might better this season too
Is Stormclaw even as strong as the new stoneburst build I e heard the stoneburst build is the worst core skill build but is it better or worse than Stormclaw
Not bad, how high do you think Stormclaw can push?
@brianmarotta937 1 second ago With perfect gear and level 100 glyphs maybe 80 to 82. I can just squeak out 75 currently.
@@brianmarotta937 oh okay so it’s still the weakest Druid build?
It’s a basic skill build. So yeah, not going to compete with the core builds. Not enough buffs that work properly with Stormclaw
Hi, if you play eternal, I can buff your gilfs realy fast by dolmen druid. Now able to do pit t100 doktoreczz#2267
So you have a build planner?
Not yet, as I am still trying to find its endgame sweet spot.
Looks like Stormclaw got a big buff and how did you instantly stagger the boss?
High attack speed with a good roll on f fist of Fate. With the high attack speed and high lucky hit with lucky hit to apply random status effects it staggers bosses quick.
Got buffs, but not enough to be viable in real high end content so far. Going to see what happens when I get glyphs up to 70-90. So far it needs a lot more buffs.
@@brianmarotta937 oh okay can it even do up to pit 70 or 80
Also can I have your battle tag so I can play with you?
Is it better to run fists vs paingorgers?
Are you going to update this?
You should use beastial rampage yeah u don’t have unlimited bulwark and hurricane then and it is a bit of a pain to keep it up but using it about quadrupled or quintupled my dmg it’s insane
How good will Stormclaw be next season is it getting a big buff? I really hope it gets a massive buff
Hey, how are you capping your armors to 9250?
Is anderials the best to use? I'm wondering because your skills are leaning towards more lightning damage and nothing supporting poison. Harlequin gives you armor, CD, damage reduction, and +skills. Also, What do you think of moonrise aspect or adaptability? 80% damage increase vs 20% from runeworkers....
Adaptability and Moonrise only benefit Claws damage with greatly diminishing returns unfortunately. The free Stormstrike and Earth spike procs are not buffed but those aspects. Andy’s is indeed best in slot, the attack speed alone almost caps the first attack speed bucket on its own. Allowing me to add into the second attack speed bucket to almost hit the 200 attack speed cap. This is a huge DPS boost, more Lucky hits, Crit hits and healing. We are heavily invested in poison, earth, physical damage, and lighting obviously. Andy’s poison in the build is constantly going off in a wide area proccing poison novas that do between 2 million to 18 million a tick. This also. Triggers damage to posion to enemies multiples like Envenom, Heighten Malice, DR from poison enemies. Runeworkers got a major buff and feeds into a ton of the paragon choices and skill tree choices. Combined this is about as maxed for damage and survivability as you can get for Stormclaw currently. But with all that said use any build that interests you as a template and change whatever you want to fit your playstyle and what feels go to you! Happy gaming!!
Ignore the typos as I am riding shotgun in a truck and responding via phone.
@@brianmarotta937 interesting. I have tested this kind of build last season and was going no where near your damage shown here. Andy procs was giving no where near that much damage. And based on how fast you killed the boss, how did you get enough hits in to get it that high... How was runeworkers changed other than giving your lightning bolts 40%x more damage? So the free cast of storm strike via crone doesn't get affected by things like moonrise? I really wanted to try a stormclaw build (I've invested so much last season and it was really bad), but I decided to go companions this season instead.
They are changing gear, and paragons in 5 weeks. At this point it’s not worth investing into this build at this point. I will post an updated build shortly after the new season starts with the new changes.
@@brianmarotta937 I will also try stormclaw in coming season too. However I think I'm more interested in a shred build with the new mythic chest (333% more damage on stealth hit? Nice)
Nice builds man! I just wanna ask why are you not maxing your basic skills? (Storm strike & claw) thanks
Currently the damage has poor return on the investment. Got greater damage return picking up multiplicative damage nodes elsewhere for lightning and earth magic. Damage from crones staff is still bugged with storm strike. Hopefully next season it gets some love.
@@brianmarotta937 thanks man
Does a lot of the dmg come from the mjolnic ring giving 100% dmg while cataclysm is active?
Yeah it’s a huge 100% multiplier. Makes up for some of what we lost with thunderstruck nerf.
you are going full lightning with this version? no earth spikes?
Yeah, it still casts, just no room to put aspect on to make the mini pulverize wave.
mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/profile/e3d45174-293f-4ac8-928f-1d8513cb8e87/builds/fe7dea2c-a9b2-426d-a99f-743972bce83c This is the new build I settled on this season
And I’m glad Druid got most the buffs it deserved now even the weaker off meta builds like this or pulverize are really good and then the meta builds like land storm build or bearslide are insanely good
nice also if you didn’t know I think beast in ice is bugged it has way lower hp than the other tormented bosses
They all go down just as easy, so I didn’t notice.
Do you think Stormclaw could do a tier 8 or does it not have enough dmg?
I did a T8 just to do it. Completed it, but takes too long to be worth it with Stormclaw. T7 is a sweet spot for farming, and even then you have to invest heavily into the build.
Is there a reason you are using regular legendary gloves instead of fist of fate to proc andariel's poison nova more often?
Unless you have a perfect 4GA roll you lose out on DPS from loss of attack speed. You would have to give up one of the other 2 slots to regain rapid aspect to cap out near 200 attack speed. As of right now poison does not scale well on a Druid like it does on a Rogue. But have it, maybe you will enjoy using it. All builds are just templates with room for change and improvement.
@@brianmarotta937 Appreciate the response. So is the main damage in this build coming from stormclaw instead of poison? Just trying to understand the point of Andariels instead of Shako or another helmet if you are not scaling poison.
Attack Speed, constant heal, and poison. The nova still does 2million to 10million when it procs. It triggers a bunch of passives from the paragon, and Envenom from the skill tree is a wide radius. Envenom being a huge damage multiplier. Andy’s is best in slot for helmet on this build.
In, not is

@@brianmarotta937thanks! Stormclaw is my favorite build since s0. Happy to see some strong non-meta builds 😊
wow good job I thought Stormclaw was meant to be almost unplayable this season with the thunderstruck capped
It does way more damage than last season, even with the Thunderstruck nerf. Still not a meta build, but it is fun and gets the job done
how does it do more dmg what massive buffs made up for the thunderstruck nerf?
With the changes to gear, affixes, buffs, skills and putting it all together. Can kill tormented bosses in 60 seconds. Couldn’t do that with Stormclaw last season
oh I just thought almost everything that Stormclaw used was getting nerfed so I thought it would be terrible since I heard some UA-camrs say it would be almost unplayable but it seems quite good
It’s not meta. People only like meta. Non meta equals bad to professional gamers who make a living off this stuff. Then the masses echo the sentiment.
I've got a friend who's got the crone staff with 4 greater affixes
If I am lucky I may find someone selling one after season ends.
@brianmarotta937 0 seconds ago I had one last season. This season I could not get one to drop. Seems like on seasonal server there are a few for sale. But on the eternal server I can’t find one. The build isn’t popular so no one looking I guess.
What skills is nature fury passive proccing in this built?
I am not entirely sure. Claw, Storm Strike, Earth Spike. Cataclysm and Petrify. Probably others but I never tried to break it down further.
If you put on the Aspect with Boulder for your hurricane, does recasting the hurricane keep the boulders? or do you have to wait for it to end before you can cast it again?
I am not sure as this is a totally different build. This build does not use boulder.
@@brianmarotta937 I was asking as if you added it, i can see the effeciency of your skill CDs with only the 2CD skills is wonderful, dont know if it would get ruined with other skills
Yeah, if I put other skills and accidentally trigger them it messes with the cooldowns. I used the points in multiplicative Damage passives instead
@@brianmarotta937 Understand that completely. I actually built a similar build, but added the boulders... its insane.. loving it. They dont drop when you refresh it.

Very nice Damage!

What can I use besides visage? I'm using shako ATM
Shako should work just fine. You just won’t have the poison AOE and ticks. I tested Shako in tier 91 pits, I added the aspect that gives 2 percent healing on attacks to my pants to make it easier to keep Tyreals might going. It worked just fine. I just didn’t like the loss of the AOE, but it made me tanker.
Tankier
That's why I need tyrael's might 😢
Hey, great run. Do you have a link to your paragon setup and gear/stats. I’ve been really trying to make stormclaw work and my variant has done a 91 pit with mostly 4 and some 8 or higher mw gear. Can I ask why you picked cataclysm? I would be afraid to go without lacerate or petrify myself for bosses because the multipliers help.
I went with cataclysm because I invested heavy into lighting damage in the build.
mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/profile/62315b1c-7f44-4f83-a988-43b6df67a1ec/builds/8c2404c6-9189-414b-84d8-09e8c63f60fd This is the build I use. Unfortunately Stormclaw is not meta, and it is looking like with the upcoming nerfs in season 5 Stormclaw will be a dead build altogether.
I appreciate it! Will take a look. Again, really impressive. I did see disappointment with upcoming Druid changes, is the cap on thunderstruck what you’re thinking will hurt the build? Huge bummer regardless.
Yeah. We are losing 150 to 200 percent multiplicative damage with no buffs to compensate. Crones staff has been bugged for a long time now, and they have not acknowledged it because it’s not a popular build. Crones needs to be fixed. The lighting and storm skill tags all need fixing so they proc off each other and the associated aspects and boons that should have synergy. The free casts of storm strike are not correctly buffed by damage multipliers. We need some buffs to basic skill damage, and a way to use either a totem, or one handed weapon in addition to the crones staff. This would help even though it would still not compete with most other builds. At least it would still be usable without beating your head against a wall. Meanwhile I can take an undefeated Rogue or Barb and clear 120 pits while sleepwalking. Other than bugged builds on the PTR Druid builds are still mediocre . Poor sorcerers are in the same shape.
Under geared not undefeated
That is awesome. Congrats man
Thanks. It’s too bad Stormclaw doesn’t really have much more to give. The build needs the bugs fixed, and a lot of buffs. Instead, we are being nerfed for the upcoming season. I just don’t get it, it’s not like it’s overpowered.
I agree, I don't understand either. It's such a badass build. It doesn't exactly feel dominating shooting puffs of air with windsheer. Druid needs buffs in better places.
I love this build, but it's so weak in comparison
Yeah it needs fixing. Instead it’s getting nerfed hard.
@@brianmarotta937i want for that , i like stormclaw

You would have to ask Elon, I have no idea what he uses.
@@brianmarotta937 IsTyrael effective?
The damage reduction and resistance affixes are the main benefits, the extra damage with the holy bolts is just a bonus.
Unfortunately Stormclaw is not in a good place in the current meta. Druids as a whole need reworks, and buffs. Instead they are nerfing us in season 5 for no good reason. It seems like they want everyone to use either barbarian or rogue.

Brilliant!
You should give a try to switching aspect of changeling's debt instead of retribution on the amulet, its a 83(x) multiplier. I did and i see crits up to 3.5 millions with claw and 2+ million poison ticks from andys.
Changelings debt is awesome for mobbing, but for boss fights it does not work as you can not crowd control a boss. I needed an all around damage multiplier for pit and solo tormented bosses. With chance to stun on my boots and pants, I proc retribution on ads and elites. On bosses it procs when I stagger them.
To the person that posted about shako doing more damage, sorry I dropped my phone while editing my reply to you. It removed your comment and my reply. Shako increases your survival but lessens your damage by a large margin with my build. Shako can not apply poison in a wide area to trigger Heightened Malice 45% multiplicative damage, Envenom 80% Multiplicative Crit damage, and protection from and damage to poison enemies. And this is to groups of enemies at a time constantly. My current version of the build has poison ticks on pack of enemies doing 2mil to 9 mil damage per second of poison. With Shako I have to rely on toxic claw and it’s only each individual enemy I hit at a time for poor poison damage. Here is a comparison I made way before the patch and revamp of the build.
ua-cam.com/video/OrWsU_lrBwc/v-deo.htmlsi=s0KdRoNtUz4qzbOP Shako vs Anderial
That's fair I didn't know how it worked but I see now. Does the interaction with werewolf's and the rabies legendary aspect help proc it more often at all ? Or is it strictly your attacks? Cause I wanted to make a build with Andy's and have the werewolf companions follow if it worked
Two separate procs. Anderials Procs off lucky hit chance. The higher your total luck hit chance, the more often it procs. Claw has a very high lucky hit chance and when combined with high attack speed it constantly goes off.
From looking at the initial information today about season 5, your idea for a build may actually be very strong next season
@@brianmarotta937 doesn't your pets get every stat you do so wouldn't they get lucky hit chance as well or does that not transfer over. I don't know 100% how it works really so just wondering . But yes season 5 looks better for it with the buffs
