    Nice. Would it not be easier to leave the Fluval out of it. And use the pump to empty the tank as well? Less wear on the filter drainage tap too. Anyway your tank is spotless.

    My FWD mk7 350 140 has a rear stub axle diameter of 45mm. The dust ring is built into the wheel bearing assemble and is supplied already inserted into the bearing housing. I can only assume this is the 36mm spline with a separate dust plate. Having completed this job I can recommend just taking the stub axle off (4 bolts) and throwing everything else away. Get a new stub axle, disk and hub with bearing. The bearing hub and disk are usually welded together with unbreakable rust. Additionally they are welded to the hub spigot. Don't waste your money on pullers and special tools, just throw away the hub, disk and stub axle as one unit

    I've just got the same tank but the filter I got is a eheim professional 1200xlt...don't know if that's a good filter or not but was told the filter that comes with it isn't that good.....don't want to criticise your tank but you have a fantastic big tank there and you've put chappy landscaping in there....if that's temporary then fair enough but a tank like that needs real plants,rocks and wood in it so the fish feel happier in the more natural surrounding...I haven't set mine up yet and I'm going to landscape it over a period of time when I have saved some money to buy all the materials needed. Your filter looks like its a decent heavy duty one...the one that comes with it takes half the room in the tank...how many fish can you have in a 350 litre tank as I don't want to overstock mine.

    People sicken me on how they talk trash about a person's taste in aquariums. The same reason this person uses aquarium decor is the same reason why they don't live in your shoes.... Everyone is different. You judge people because of their choice and if its different from what you like or think, its a problem. It's your opinion and if you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. It's people like you that make people not want to even get into the hobby.. You comment harshly on everything from their choice in fish, tank size, decor, overstocking... everything under the sun. It's one thing to be informative, but some of you are just down rude. You say its not right to use ornaments, but then wont give a logical reason other than the aesthetics not fitting YOUR taste. You have people who use PVC pipe as decor and nothing is said, and thats not "natural". Stop with the madness. If you don't like a persons tank, don't watch the video, why even comment?

    I can't believe you've got a submersible pump and you only use it to put the water back in the tank but your happy to have that massive ball ache of using the fx6 just use the pump to get the water out 😂🤷‍♂️

    • @Shifty761989
      @Shifty761989 2 роки тому

      Not really a ball ache though is it, when not recording can be done a lot quicker and considering the FX6 shifts 3500 L per hour compared to submersible pump which only shifts 1200 L per hour the tank drains miles faster. But you already knew that didn’t ya, just trying to find some of your videos so I can learn from the professional?

      Hi, I put a dechlorinator in the water first, I use Seachem Prime. It depends really on stock levels, but you would be better doing 25/30% water change weekly as opposed to doing a 60/70% water change monthly. Doing small water changes often is less stressful, not as much shock. Thanks

    • @Shifty761989

      Hi, these are great tanks, plenty of space in them. The filter that comes with the tank is meant to be a good filter and don’t forget it is rated for that size of tank that’s why they include it in there but I didn’t want a great big black thing in the corner, I also didn’t want to loose space, I prefer external filters, easier to clean and can get more bio media in them. That’s one thing that put me off was having to try and clean inside the internal filter whilst it was stuck inside the tank. Honestly tho if you don’t mind it in the tank and you can deal with cleaning it whilst it’s stuck in there it will be absolutely fine, obviously as long as you aren’t heavily stocking your tank with Cichlids. Our local fish store has a display tank (Juwel curved tank) and he runs that just off the internal filter and it’s a well stocked tank. Cheers
