a full loop connection
Home trails where I connected as much as I could without crossing over too much. I've got 2 sections I still need to tie in. One needs to be cleaned up and the other, well I gotta figure out how to tie it in best. We got time.
Dirt was slippy, that is true.

FCR Dean Hagemann Memorial Dual Sport 11/24

First main portion of the Forest City Riders Dean Hagemann Memorial Dual Sport over in Leaf River, IL a couple weeks ago. Great trails setup by a really great group of riders. Sadly my camera died with a bit more trail to go, so it goes.
moss lake in september (a portion)
Переглядів 5921 день тому
Last time I rode Moss Lake was back in 2012 and that was just a portion aboard a YZ250F. I never went back until a couple months ago. I shouldn't have ridden this as the first thing on my trip, especially with getting up at 3am and it also having rained prior to me arriving and being solo. But so's it goes. here's a portion after having been riding for ~45 minutes or so. I had already bonked on...
ktm150 top hot lap
Переглядів 14221 день тому
The 150's hot lap against the 350. Pardon the mismatch in timers. Both end up at the same time, but where my GPS lap timer starts is a smidge off from where I keyed in on the video editor. Did my best to sync up the GPS speed data. Really wish RaceChrono would do something here to tweak this stuff on a desktop vs phone. So it goes..... combined video link: ua-cam.com/video/_1GRupT5pnk/v-deo.html

2024 KTM 150XCW First Ride / Impressions / and more
Переглядів 48428 днів тому
2024 KTM 150XCW First Ride, Impressions....and more. These are first thoughts\braps on the new 150. What can I say other than this bike's chassis is a big improvement over the 2019 350. Most notable is the xact closed chamber fork. What a dreamy fork. I've since looked into what the suspension was set at stock (standard settings) and am beyond impressed. This to me is the single biggest improve...
2024 KTM 150XCW UnBoxing

Unboxing of my new 2024 KTM 150XCW. Yup, I've been a longtime anti-2T person. Well, not anti-2T, but shirley the fanatacism over them has been out of control. The fast folks know ya gotta be on the 4T.....but I digress. Seeing KTM had this 150 in the new Throttle Body Fuel Injection with Xact Closed Chamber Forks, and oil injection....SIGN ME UP. Thanks Munn Racing for reminding me that buying ...
FIRST RIDE!!! 10 minutes into ride on new box stock 2024 KTM 150xcw
Переглядів 12728 днів тому
Had to put this up. 10 minutes into my first riding of a 100% box stock 2024 KTM 150XCW. Just tossed it together, filled with gas and set tire pressures. I've no clue what the suspension is set at. No idea what the sag is. I HAD to get on the thing and see what it was like. Been on a 350 4T for basically the past 10 years. Watch the video and see.....its impressive what this new chassis can do....

My loop full attack lap
Переглядів 46Місяць тому
This a full lap of my home loop. Best time I've hit of 2.55.2, which according to RaceChrono, I SHOULD be able to hit 2.52 if I can put all the sections together properly. If only. Keeping consistent sub 3.00 is painful enough.

It’s rut season!
Even the weak 150 is digging deep
The most comfortable biking boots I've owned. But never got toe scuffs like you. Guess it depends what you are riding and your foot position on the pegs. I found early on with mine to not over-tighten the laces, and to tuck the excess lace inside for maximum comfort and safety
I wanna bike like that and a backyard like that. Beautiful 😻 bike .👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks. It's been a long process and I did have to swap the T7 for the 150. So far it's been worth it. 🤘🤘🤘

Hello SB moto, I am trying out the same exact thing, been using for a while now the stock MC with a single OEM disc. It is usable but requires significant more pull on the lever to be able to get the ABS to kick in (which is to be expected). Ordered a 11mm MC and will swap it for the OEM one. My biggest worry is heat management, have you managed to overheat it so far? Any spooky situations caused by this single disc set up? Thanks!
I never had issues with single front and overcooking it. Especially off road. If you're blasting hard on a road course, you may have issues, but can always update to a oversized front rotor. You'll love how lively the front feels with not using that oem master. 🤘🤘🤘
@ Great! Thanks for the feedback. 🙂 I'll share my impressions after I have tested it for a few more kms on and off road 😉
Some good family time. Cool to have your wife and daughter out in the garage putting together a KTM.
Family the rides together, stays together 🤘🤘.
Look at all that data!
Which one is more fun to ride?
Both? 🤣. The first ride back on the 350 and I was giggling at how easy some stuff was. I get back on the 150 and am giggling at how different it feels. For me the fun aspect just comes down to what you're doing and what you're into. Most the racing I'm doing....the 350 is the easy choice. It's just easier to keep up higher speeds, especially in anything that is a bit more open. The 150 OTOH....there is something fun about having to work that hard to keep the pace up. Simply put... they're both amazingly fun in their own ways. If you can only have one bike, and need to do a lot with it, there is no better machine than a KTM 350. If yah want a 2t that really highlights where you're lacking in your riding.....the 150 is a great choice. I'd love to compare with a 250/300 2T and 250 4T next. 🤘🤘
I just got cancer. Thanks
Cut out processed sugar.
First Drop ! Now that is a way to start a video series. Nice Home Track BTW
May as well get it scuffed sooner than later. With leaves falling it's easier to scout out new trail to cut in. More to come. 🤘🤘
Sweet shades, bro.
When Oakley was still made in USA 🤘🤘
thing is a screamer.You like?
So far for sure. It's a totally different type of fun from my 350. You gotta really work it, but when it screams......much smiles. 🤘🤘🤘
Nice hazard warning at 1:30
Nuttin but flatland and wide open corn fields here.
Nice new fast lap, looks like time to be had on the last 1/3rd, first 1/3rd felt less rushed.
The speeeeeeeeddddd
Grunts get yah through a rough lap. The arm pains are real today.
😝😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
First iike for me again. You better start sending me residual checks.
I'll fax over some of the profits.
Is this on ktm exc f?
Yup, this is on my 2019 KTM 350EXC-F. 🤘🤘
3;20 you took the easy way out...
I'm riding a 4Joke, I need to take the easiest path possible.
I gave you like, so your feelings wouldn't get hurt.😊
Always appreciated. 🤘
nice!
Thanks!

Hoi, bedankt voor de uitleg. Heb ook zoiets gemaakt maar dan van een platic bloempot. Mis je geen wind bescherming op de snelweg? Vriendelijke groet Alexander
Great idea! I prefer the clean air hitting my helmet over partial like stock. Much more comfortable than stock for me. 👍
Pretty sendy on those jumps for being foreign to moto. lol. Did you get practice laps? I'm thinking about going to the race on the 22nd
I've ridden some moto and jumps, but compared to those MX kids, I ain't squat 🤣🤣 No practice laps unfortunately. Hopefully you made it to the race. 👍
I also got the full Pro build from George on my T7 and just came back riding the Colorado and Utah BDR - what a transformation. Rode it like my Husky FE350
The Gobbler upgrade really makes the T7 as close to an enduro bike in ride feel as possible. Absolutely love it!
George at Suspension101 set me up as well. My T7 went from why did I sell my KTM to wow. I love it. It is really good. Very well put how you explained it. I thought I was going to need to go to 48mm conversion or the 49mm shows. They may be better and cost a lot more, but I am happy with the Gobbler. It blew my expectations. Plus George was very helpful. I did the install with his direction. No regrets.
I'm very impressed with your shelving! Nice use of space in your garage.
Thanks! Still trying to get organized, but I do love those bins from home Depot. Only issue is that the upper shelf has garage door rails right at head level. Gotta watch out or wear a helmet 🤣
What did it cost for everything?
Full build with springs, fork extension, valves, etc is ~2500.
Wild
Love my Gobbler Pro build. Everything you say, I echo 100 percent and it's totally worth it.
Like your riding 🎉
Thanks ✌️
Thanks. Just started thinking about getting one.
Can't go wrong with them. Been enjoying racing mine this year. It's treating me very well with little to no issues.
Great lap.
Saw you coming and I got upset, that late in the race I had no fight left so I had no choice but to wave you by. Nice riding!
There were some fast paces being ridden out there. You were on the white CR? If so, I was surprised to see you at the end. I was doing all I could to keep my pace up. The rock garden was getting me every single lap. Those rocks felt so slick compared the last 2 races I did there. Glad it wasn't a dustbowl like last year 🤣
@@SBMoto yessir, my 125 was a handful on the rocks. I couldn’t so much as breathe on the throttle and my rear tire would be at my side.
Haha yah same and I just did some stuff to tame my 350 a bit more. 🤣. That section I was wishing I had some gummy tires or at least lower pressure.
Get a rekluse so you don't crash so much.
I'm open to sponsorships. You buy it, I ride it. We all win.
Double vroom vroom.
Vroom vroom.
I didn't watch it, but I gave you like anyway. Post a Cliff Note version.
I'll take it. And here yah go. ua-cam.com/video/OVyJcknzzwk/v-deo.html
BRAP.
One brap. Many crash. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤘
Very slick lines out the gate, until the crunch, I can't say much about the crunch, never been to the crunch, never seen the crunch, except that once, but it was only a little day trip around the crunch, and we have all been as tourists.
I know nothing of the crunch.
Did anyone get decapitated?
Not that I'm aware of. Though while my head was securely fastened to my body for the duration of the race, my brain was not operating very well the entire time 🤣
Bar bangin' action
It was a good battle at the beginning. 🤘
This is some crazy shit. Lotta sand, some logs. Blech.
The sandy parts weren't TOO bad, but everything was definitely dry, which I fought too much with. If they'd of had a little bit of rain that morning, it woulda made for some real hero dirt. But hey, it was all good and a great race!
What are your settings ?
I started with the default JD settings, but have tweaked slightly. I'll have to check where its all at though now. It's been a few years since I've messed with it.
@@SBMoto thank you I would appreciate that
Green - 6/7 Yellow - 6 Red - 6/7 Green/Blue - 6/7 Yellow/Blue - 5/6 Red/Blue - 5 More snap than I really need, especially right now with 13/52 gearing and the PMB exhaust end cap.
@@SBMoto thanks so much
That mud puddle sucked so bad at the end of race.
On the last lap there were 2 riders stuck in there. Luckily I was able to bash through the brush on the left side to get through with minimal issue. Glad I didn't get stuck.
Princess hands😀
The life of spending more time at the keyboard than on the bike. 😭
Imma start calling you Sexton if you keep washing the front end like that. 4:30
Awesome first lap.
Thanks! I was timid on those jumps. The trees are my safe space 🤣
Great ... now I want one. Maybe the X Country, since I seem to get along with "scramblers" more then any other bike configuration. Thank you for explaining the fuel pump bit. I saw it mentioned elsewhere, but no details.
I still miss my old xcountry that I bought back in 2008. It was such a great do it all bike, though I did end up doing a fork, shock, and wheel swap on it to turn it into more of an xchallenge. It's a shame the only bike similar to these now is the KTM 690. I better stop typing cause I'll reminisce too much and find myself wandering Facebook Marketplace looking for another 650x 🤣🤘🤘
Your hills are shiit😁
Can't argue with that!
