This is God... This is Mister Jaaaaaaaaammmeessss Brown ! Many thanks for your comment, Phil.

Thanks for the feedback, Vromj.
Wow -the video portion is from a 1960 show hosted by Ronald Reagan called the Swingin Singin Years from 1959 or 1960 with Jo Stafford and great Hollywood musicians - but the sound you hear is from a Record album or 78 made by Jo at a different time. Very interesting!!! And well done!!!
Oh my ! Thank you so much, Dept, for giving us those valuable details. Very kind.
Best version I’ve heard of this song. Difficult to believe this was 40 years ago! Still awesome though.
masterpiece
Amazing
Thanks, Samuel.

Absolutely insane version of this song. It's been steadily climbing my all time cure favorites list over the years. It keeps getting higher and higher. I'll stack this song against any on Disinegration.
Well-spoken words. I still feel okay about hearing someone who tells that his fave "Wish" song is this one, while linking to "Disintegration". Thanks, Joe.

Inspiring ? Doubt it. In fact, there are few places on earth looking so much like desert ; so much so that I'm wondering if you're not a mirage. But thank you, Raygun, that's mighty nice of all of you. Best regards.

Ahh Yesss..... What else can I say, but simply more excellent work..... !!!! I could twist and turn this whole video analysis; however when entertaining guests, "friends + alcohol + marihuana" = 😷🤒🤮🤧🥺 for me in the morning. So, I escaped into my home office and give you a thumbs-up approval. The intellectual discussions must wait, but don't disappear for the Winter..... !!!!
(...) "but don't disappear for the Winter..... !!!!" Alas, Hydra, you know for a fact, as every year in a few months : Santa will come with his companion Grampus, who is some sort of demon spirit, and he'll make me disappear. That the way it is, there's nothing I can do. Santa never fails to break his word.
Awesome!
It's a good thing I rechecked to see if you got my message, unless you erased it....??? I've been getting some posts automatically erased for some reason, but I posted this quite a while back. Well, here is is again: My friend, you know exactly how to pull at my heartstrings for whatever reasons. It's difficult to believe that this song was released in July of 2010, because their low-fi sound virtually cradles within my very sensitive ear to near perfection and creating music that's this sublime is simply timeless. I classify bands like Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, and State Azure (for example) have mastered music which can't be dated to any particular date, nation, schools of thought, or genre specificity. These are music landscapes that you might saunter along, as if, your walking through a natural park all alone ― Awed by it's purity. Whenever it's important, I need to focus to either do some difficult reading or writing for more intellectual type journalism, I require this kind of music to get me through the process. This was difficult when I worked in book and magazine publishing, where the Publisher (a very egotistical woman) announced to everyone that she needed 'absolute silence' in order to concentrate. We weren't allowed headphones either, because we might miss any intra-communications within the offices. These music landscapes don't hinder myself to concentrate on demanding work, because they allow free thought to be processed without the obstacles of words themselves. Another reason to add to the Cocteau Twins releases within this bracket as well. You know Ratepelade, I feet some sort of guilty pleasure at admiring your work. I hope you have as much enjoyment in making them, as I do listening and watching them bloom into a new existence. It's a true gift that I had intended to perform myself, having bought the entire Adobe Suite Pro for myself, but I've yet to dedicate the time to do so. My first university degree was in Computer Graphics, but Premier Pro kicked my ass ― Where as, I had to learn Photoshop within a week to illustrate my 1999 Thesis Project. I believe that the stress of having to perform something necessary, often gives a much better understanding for myself in particular. There's one young man I've been keeping my eye on, for some time now, is closely falling into the same range as the above bands I listed; however, he feels most comfortable with having other musician's to counterbalance himself is K-ORA. K-ORAt('s) - "ISAE" is a phenomenal track and he often gives his music away. Here's the UA-cam link: ua-cam.com/video/oVwdK4MhM5k/v-deo.html He's more involved with the sound production and engineering involved in various movie projects. I believe your soul will become as equally attracted to K-ORA, as much as he speaks to mine. I may have mentioned him before, so if, I've done so, then please forgive the reiteration. Plus, he a very attractive young man as well (it's the Native American Indian in him); but, he has absolutely no "self-interest" or "superficial ego" to contend with and is a very down-to-Earth guy. I believe he's extremely sensitive, since we've been sharing emails back and forth; however, I know the Major Music Industry Labels, like Sony Music where I also work, would trample and crush his spirit. Like a majestic "Golden Eagal" he needs his complete freedom to spread his wings to take flight. At my vacation residence, there are Golden Eagals that still exist in the wild. At one time, a youngling was on the hunt from above and dove after my "Baby" (a 22 pound Maine Coon cat), so she caught herself into my hedges. Fortunately, I saw this happen and pushed the limbs out of her way, so that she could free herself and she flew up on my porch and we spent a few minutes with each other in the yard, where I talked to her, while she regained her composure. Well, this is yet another chapter to place in you book of complements Ratepelade.... !!!! I enjoyed this one very much, so my deepest thank you. From, your Native American friend, and never stop making these videos.
How do you mean ? Who, me ? Delating your message ? "You can’t be serious !" as McEnroe said. Well... it seems to be yet another bug, Hydra, because I have received nothing from you. No notification (here and in my mail-box). No post. Nothing visible. UA-cam, as I told you many times before, is not only a mystery, but a world of suggestive outlines and thick pools of darkness. So, sensing that any attempt to resolve this situation by rational argument would be doomed to failure, I no longer know what to say, except I'm extremely embarrassed that it has taken so long to see something (for you and me) here or anywhere. Whatever it is, thanks a million for your inspired comment, as ever. I really love this part : "Whenever it's important, I need to focus to either do some difficult reading or writing for more intellectual type journalism, I require this kind of music to get me through the process. (...) These music landscapes don't hinder myself to concentrate on demanding work, because they allow free thought to be processed without the obstacles of words themselves. Another reason to add to the Cocteau Twins releases within this bracket as well." And many many thanks for K-ORA !!! His Ison cover is a true splendor, as well as the video. It's the perfect illustration that I have allowed myself to take from your comment, as a sound and aesthetic point of view. From, your Native French friend, and never stop making music with words.
@@ratepelade6838 Yes, it's a hopeless expectation to imagine that UA-cam would ever get all their "Gremlins" ― Or better yet ― To attempt to tame "The Ghosts in The Machine"..... !!!! In retrospect, I'm simply content enough to know my message reached your attention, but We Are Trees "Sunrise Sunset" simply set my mind at ease and I couldn't be any more content. You know, my friend, I've never sought great wealth, or to sit behind the Sony Music Head Executive's table ― Instead, I yearned for one solid thing, I called it "contentment"...... !!!! I thank you for noticing that I'm achieving exactly what you expressed as: ".... making music with words". Ratepelade, that is exactly what I want to be remembered because after-all words are music ― However, "words" need a proper conductor. Without heart, then it's value is nothing...... Thank You, Again K-ORA is a gifted young man. I always get emails with music attachments that sound so delicate and fragile, I imagine a butterfly caught in deep freeze ― It's passed from life, but the wings are beyond the grace of Angels.

Nothing else wouldn't be worth playing, if, it weren't through Ratepalade's eyes. Yeah, I'm a little jealous of him (but don't say anything to him about this little sideline chat). However, "genius" most often, only flourish's in the lesser known areas on UA-cam and gain some opportunities to gain business ― I guess, I'm more of a "fanboy"; however, no less than a "Goth-kyd"...... !!!!

Merci, l'ami !
Absolutely flawless work along with a full story critiquing humanity..... !!!! My friend, unquestionably you've done some flawless videos before and it's a true passion of your own making, that brings a simple joy to people like myself. When I watched this video, I became completely immersed into this world; plus, anything done by the incomparable Lisa Gerrard is simply sublime. Dead Can Dance has been in my music collection since they were the opening act for the Cocteau Twins, way back in 1980, which accounts for a very large portion of my lifetime. I've been cheering on Lisa and maintained a secret love for her voice. When the movie 'Gladiator' was first released, everyone in the audience said "Who was that singer: She made me cry" So, of course, I joyfully said Dead Can Dance to them and the music cd's, dvd, and electronics store was below the movie complex, while my mate and I sat drinking caramel-latés at Starbucks, watching the people buy out everything related to Lisa Gerrard. I don't know the backstory to "Black Myth: Wukong" because I don't play video games ― Nevertheless, it's social commentary is definitely profound in the way we humans work internally. We do indeed create our own misery, but it seems that when we humans take anything for granted ― People don't hesitate to take until it's completely dead. I think this is why so many people turn to atheism, as a matter of commonality, reflective of our soulless endeavors. Even for something as unfathomable as "God", "The Great Universe", or "The Great Spirit" can't seem to satiate our greedy apatites ― I fear for the future, still.... You've made my day and now I feel like I'm walking among the clouds and what a delightful feeling this is. I'm going to make sure all the Sony Music friends, that I work among, will see this video at my next poker game. I started a friendly game of poker at my home on every other Friday, for the executives to correspond better and to understand one another, on a deeper level than just work related stuff. It's the one chance I get to play "my music" and now a new video to add to that list on Friday. It should feel good to you, that they've all seen your work before, so there's the usual questions about: how I made your acquaintance?, where you come from?, what's your occupation and background?, and on so on. I say, "How am I supposed to know this information, ask him yourselves". The greatest profession has always been "in service" to bring some happiness and maybe some meaningful thought into people's minds and life ― This is what music does. Music speaks to our greater being from within towards the throughout. You simply are deeply appreciated, as well as gifted.... !!!! C'est si bon
Like all your speeches, offered with love, and with our best interests at heart. Music, our common passion. It seems right, somehow, that this forum discussion should be fully opened to you. Since your very first message, two years ago (about "Cocteau Twins - Millimillenary" video), you had arrived on this channel, and had found it empty and somnolent. You took hold of my hand and found it ice-cold. And you warmed it by your encouraging words. So the thing started working again. Others have 10K, 100K, 1M subscribers. @@ratepelade6838 I eagerly await for your releases, because your imagination is so 'spot on'. This feeling of appreciation is mutually reciprocated, my friend.... !!!!
