I honestly don't understand why so many people are dumb enough to drill a huge holes in their sink or countertop just to install the WD G2 P600 which only has a threaded stem that measures less than a half inch. It does NOT require a big gaping 2 inch hole. It only requires a half inch (0.5") hole, and nothing more. I have this exact unit sitting on my counter ready to install, and the reason I purchased this unit is because my porcelain sink top came with a half inch hole for a liquid soap dispenser. Please people, look at what you're installing before you go drilling holes in your expensive countertops. I've watched so many videos of people who spent money on two inch diamond tipped hole saws and then spent an hour drilling a two inch hole, only to watch them stick a half in threaded stem through the hole, while never once asking themselves, "why did I need such a big hole?" I wish I could post photos here to show people how ridiculous it is.

Amazon is having a LOT of delivery problems right now. I spent most of my career in product distribution and saw all kinds of ways the buyers and drivers would "game the system" when their bonus was on the line. (Google US Foods accounting scandal from 20 years ago, Kraft Foods accounting scandal, etc...). My last grocery order with Amazon was canceled at the last minute, an hour after it was supposed to be delivered, with no explanation except "that they encountered problems". The message suggested I re-submit the order and that the missing order would be credited back in 3 days. I went to my orders to resubmit and found that it had been deleted. This is a "gaming" technique buyers use when they are at risk of not getting their bonuses at the end of the quarter. They ask sales reps to remove the order from the system so it doesn't look like a product outage, which would count against them. In addition, not only did I not get credited for the missing order, but instead they charged me again for the order that was never delivered. So I paid 2x for an order that was never delivered. This was just last week. My last grocery order before this was a couple of months ago when again, I got a message that my order was running late due to unforseen problems. It never showed up. I did get credited for that one, but that's 2 out of 2 orders that went missing. I also ordered a pair of running shoes for $80 under Amazon's "Try befor you buy" program, where you have a week to try them on before you buy them. I returned them within 24 hours to the Whole Foods drop-off and 6 weeks later it still showed pending. Finally they claimed they never got them and charged me anyway, but instead of the $80 sale price, they charged me the full $170 price. Basically, I handed them off to the Whole Foods employee who either stole them or they got lost in transit back to the warehouse. In this case I filed a claim with my bank, showing them the return confirmation when I dropped them at Whole Foods, and I was credited back. This is just in the last couple of months, maybe the last 5 orders from Amazon. Having spent 2 decades in the distribution business, I can tell you that it must be chaos behind the scenes. This is what happens when "founders" (Jeff Bezos) retire and turn the reigns over to a "manager" who gets bonused for profitability. The same thing happened at Starbucks. They went from being a great place to meet clients and hang out, to basically being McDonalds. They immediately look for ways to save money quickly, so they max out bonuses during their contract period. They suddenly stop awarding shares to employees, freeze raises and make bonuses harder to achieve. This results in an exodus of seasoned employees who are quickly scooped up by Costco or Walmart, leaving Amazon shorthanded with only new, untrained people. If I am personally losing half my orders with Amazon, I can only imagine what other people who order much more than me are seeing. Amazon is scheduled to report earnings in the next month, and if I had to guess, these issues will show in the earnings either this quarter or more likely the next quarter. Belt tightening issues are usually designed to save money in the current quarter, so they may very well cover up their problems in the October report. But the end of year report may include a statement about "the weather" or "challenging economy" or some other nonsense to pin the blame on Biden or the border or inflation or China....anything as long as the CEO doesn't have to take the blame. But seeing how many AMZN shares Jeff Bezos has been selling, he probably knows what's coming.

I see that was three years ago, when Amazon logistics was still pretty much functioning. Today, they basically tell you to piss off. Unfortunately, Amazon is no longer good at customer service or logistics. I think about every three orders they’re late and even when they’re late by a week or more, they will not cancel the order or give a refund until the item eventually arrives and then you have to drive it into town, at your expense, to return it.

September 2024-we ordered a sink for construction project 6 days ago with promised delivery in 3 days. Watched your video post and contacted Amazon chat as suggested. Explained my situation. We are responsible for labor costs on our project. Without product to install, added cost to have them return another day. Customer service instructed to wait for tardy arrival and then request a "refund with exception". This is where they process refund and you keeep item. In our case, item was $212 and minimum labor would be $300. Had customer service email me a confirmation while we were in chat. It worked. Chat history is saved and they can put a note on your accoiunt. Getting back to the "person" again would be virtually impossible. Product arrived @ 24 hours later and will process refund request in the morning. This may not work in every case but putting a $$ amount associated with occurrence makes it more than an inconvenience. Maybe this will help someone else. Good Job In the Black!

Amazon will not refund you for a late delivery. This guy is either lying or doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I know firsthand because I work as an Amazon delivery guy. they will not refund your delivery fee or reimburse you in anyway. You spend $14 a month for Amazon prime. The lowest paid Amazon delivery driver makes $18 an hour. So essentially, your deliveries are free. You’re just paying for a membership. Which gets you better deals on the merchandise than a non-member. This morons just trying to get paid by bringing in more subscribers to his page. When the lowlife should just get a real job. Being a UA-camr or social media influencer is not a real job. That’s what scumbags do for living.

2024 if a Amazon Package is late & you call Amazon all they will do is give you a excuse saying there sorry for any inconvenience & thinks that resolved the issue & there off the hook because I payed for Rush delivery because Amazon apologized for not getting my package on time that I payed to get on the time scheduled for delivery. then Amazon will try to use excuses saying oh the package hasn't arrived yet give it the time allowed which is a excuse Amazon uses so when the package doesn't arrive they won't compensate you & they will pass the buck where you have to be inconvenienced & wait to get your money back. So on Amazon orders being late is not a once in a while thing it's very regular the orders are not on time & always late. On one of my orders I'm suppose to get today says it's suppose to be delivered 7pm to 12 am & I've never seen Amazon deliver at 12 am in the morning which is a escape goat if it's late Amazon will use this said the package was late to squirm there way out on there obligation so you won't get your money back paying for Rush delivery

Useless information, as usual. Some of us have to leave the country on a specific day. So when the incompetent shitheels at Amazon say "5-7 days" for delivery and I order it 12-days in advance, then it arrives 3-days after I left the country, it doesn't exactly mean anything to me. I mean, other than Amazon is a pathetic joke of a company. And I could have just gone to CVS or Nordstrom while I was stateside and bought the stuff...

I've had several packages I ordered from Amazon apparently get lost in transit over the years. I once heard that it was extremely rare for a mailpiece to get lost in the mail. How are so many of my Amazon packages just disappearing on the way from the seller to my location? Are Amazon orders primarily taken on shipping routes through the Bermuda Triangle or something?

Here in March of 2024 - Amazon has since caught on and now they won’t do anything about it if they’re late. 3 out of 5 deliveries are now very late, and if you complain they just cancel the order and refund it. They’ve completely fallen off of accurate delivery dates and are scrambling to fix their system. People are dropping Prime like bricks made of crap.

They do this to GROUP orders. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to run to the store and buy the item that I just purchased with them because it’s going to arrive after I need it because they want to save money by grouping the orders when I don’t want the orders grouped because I need the item when they promised it. or for instance, like this weekend they’re going to deliver all of my package when I am at the house at work on a very long overnight shift. Oh well, my son doesn’t want his 13th birthday presents. Who cares

Tried this as a Prime Member, for two packages that were late and meant our hired carpenter couldn’t complete two of the projects he was intended to finish (so we had to bring them back). Did not work.

I've noticed lately Amazon would be giving a promised delivery date, but have been delivering my packages at least 4-5 days late from the promised time. What's annoying is it would sometimes say "Sorry for the late delay, if it is not there by (this day or hour) you can come back the next day for a free refund. It says that everyday without the choice of a free refund button a lot lately.

We have had a pre-Christmas item delayed twice now. It has gone from being delivered BEFORE Christmas to now being promised January 8th. We have Amazon Prime and that doesn't seem to matter. Delivery from Amazon is a real gamble. And they took away meaningful help buttons. They encourage you to just cancel. But the item was already promised as a gift. BEYOND FRUSTRATING!
