How did you get the display to full screen? I'm using Carlinkit and the picture is slightly smaller in my 2023 Enyaq 80X Sportline. Any help is greatly appreciated pal
I'm using the tech wizard. Just plugged it in and this is what it does. It's not full screen though
Hi, is there any way to engage the front parking sensors without pressing the park button? The front parking sensors only work when park is pressed. 85 edition and its only 1 week old.
Don't they just kick in when you get close to something? Why else would you want to trigger them?
They don't kick in when close to any objects at the front. I think the car would crash lol. I have tried a few different things but still no joy.
I have went through the menu a few times but can't find anything. I'm sure they were working on day 1 but nothing since.

I'm doing Glasgow-Yorkshire in a 40kWh LEAF this weekend so will definitely need a few charges! Zap-map seems best for finding all the chargers, but ABRP route planning has more options. Electroverse only good for charging in my humble view.. but others may disagree!
I gave up on zap map years ago. Wattsup is the only one that I really have on the phone when on a journey
Hello Laura, please *avoid* Chargeplace Scotland chargers that are broken!
It's about time they addressed their pricing issues (extortionately high), although this is a small step in the right direction.
Kind of hard for them to do with their grid connection costs up 500% in the last 12 months. It's now roughly £1000 per year just to keep every single one of those chargers hooked up to power. That's before they buy any electricity or cover any of the other costs.
Or just charge at home for 7p/kwh with octopus energy. I charge my electric motorbike from zero to 100% for 40p.
I'm 250 miles from home so that's hard to do

Heading from Manchester to Glasgow today so this is exactly what I need 👌🏼👍🏼
I forgot to show Wattsup which is ideal for seeing what's available ahead of you. Heading down to Yorkshire tomorrow so will maybe do another one.
That shoddy speedo screen is hilarious
shoddy? clear, simple and easy to read. What do you want in a speedo?
I seem to think using Cruise Control (say at any speed between 20mph to 60mph) is more economical than not using the cruise control at the said speeds. What is your view on this EnyaqGorm??? Assuming driving conditions are good, weather is good, on an A Road etc
the manual states that cruise control is for motorways so I keep it for those roads or use it in traffic jams. But in general I can see what's ahead better than the car can and I can decide how much power to use, when to ease off etc eg because I can see cars ahead slowing down before the car has got close enough to factor those in. It is always better to not use ower in the first place than to use it and then regen a small proportion of it.
@enyaq_gorm I'm sorry I've not been clear enough here. When I use the cruise control, I'm always looking at traffic ahead in anticipation and either tap the brake lightly to let the car roll, or engage the paddle shift regeneration to recoup energy. Regarding the cruise control, i leave that on, assuming i have a clear road ahead (country road, low traffic etc). So again, my intended question was, which do you think is more economical for maintaining speed without any interference? Cruise control or lightly pressing the accelerator???? The manual probably suggests not using cruise control as it might be less safe generally for the average driver, or even elderly. For me, it's not a problem, on the contrary, i find it interesting in a geeky way! I look forward to hearing from you EnyaqGorm
@@sixtyseven3337 in truth I am not sure as I just use it on long motorway trips and they're not the best for efficiency.
I drive in b mode all the time and it costs me 2.5p a mile and at 14p per kw,i know you get a cheaper rate of electric in Bonnie Scotland but n.ireland electric prices are far more expensive. My old diedel was averaging 12p pm.Still can't believe the saving
@@keegy1965 B mode less efficient not if you like it that's what matters. Your standing charges in NI are a lot lower than ours though. 63p per day in Southern Scotland
Iv had my enyaq for about a week now. When i picked it up it had 368 miles on it. Iv not been driving it fast but it won't charge upto the stated 348 miles. Is this normal or should i contact the dealer.
@@shogunpxp if you drive it exactly to the test conditions then you'll match the figure stated in the brochure, same as your petrol car would only give the advertised Mpg if you drove in the exact same test conditions. How come a new car had racked up over 300 miles before delivery?? 😱
@enyaq_gorm no sorry. I meant the dealer charged it to 368 on hand over then the next day it charged to 410. Yesterday it only charged to 313
@@shogunpxp ah ok you mean the guess-o-meter? That is not a fixed number any more than it was in your petrol or diesel car. It is the comouter guessing how efficiently you will drive in future based on the last 50 miles or so. If you are driving gently on a warm dry day on a flat road with no wind then you will get a higher figure than if you are thrashing it uphill on a wet motorway into a headwind and on a road with lots of standing water. If you want to know how much you have "in the tank" then it's the same as your old fossil car, look at the fuel gauge only now it's show in percentag rather than an analogue needle with a red warning light. The battery percentage is a real figure, the computer's educated guess is a prediction, and that will vary.
@enyaq_gorm thank you
What kind of phone holder is in that video, where can I order it
@@markooksanen9345 watch my last video where I answered this 👍
Ignore the haters! A helpful video thank you, showing if you drive normally and sensibly, what the range is. It doesn't stop you from racing off at the lights etc, or doing 75 on the motorway, that just comes with reduced range. I think if (ICE) people weren't so critical about range, there would be less of a need for these videos
@@adamhartridge7539 absolutely. I found videos like this really helpful before I bought a Nissan leaf in 2017 so just started doing the same. This morning I've driven at max speed to Aberdeen in a storm and left without being fully charged. Hopefully that addresses the points made by @enyaq007 😂 video coming soon
Older enyaq (80) has the beep as an option as well. If you’re doing the adaptive CC it’ll slow down for the corner as well… (and that’s been what’s told me to turn before - “why is the car slowing?” “Oh, I’m turning right here”

We looked at the skoda enyag ,but found the floor inside the car to high (bothe and my wife said this as we climbed in. We went for the 2024 hyundai kona Nline s EV instead. 1670 miles so far at an average of 4.5kw/per mile.
We found the same thing when looking at an Enyaq last week, my wife has mobility problems and found it just a bit too high even with the seat as low as it would go, she would manage but no point spend £24k on a car that's not completely suitable.
@@brianiswrong my wife hated the kona plus it's a bit too small for our needs. Good cars though
Waste of time.... enjoy instead of always talking about range.. you are not good for ev
Like I said several times in these videos, I don't worry about range, I just drive. But people who don't have EVs do worry about range. I'm just explaining that the car has tools to make sure you don't need to worry. Of course I could drive it like I stole it and ignore speed limits but that's not how I drive any car, ev or fossil fuelled.
Ok.can you make a video . without worrying about range please
@@enyaq007 every single video is made with not a care for range, that is the whole point of every single one where I say "you need to take a break before the car, the range of the car is greater than the driver can safely manage" 😵💫 The tips in this video and the last one I did (which subscribers asked me to make BTW) will save you money. @@user-gi9hy3cj9b you don't need to do this, you can just drive. These are tips to save money or maybe just drive a bit further if you're not wanting to use a public charger
Thing is, because banging £30 worth of 4 star in your tank is 2nd nature to most, they forget that blasting between A & B, uphill and down is also less efficient, but they're not reminded of it. "oh I need to get fuel because the needle is in the red" is all they know. I'd love an EV, but as a retiree, can't justify the expense atm.
My son inherited my dad's 1.2 Škoda Fabia. £75 to fill and it does 43 mpg. £400 to service every 12 months. My car costs £5 for 330 miles and under £200 to service every 2 years. The fabia is way more expensive to run. Way more.
I use the speed limiter on my Enyaq 60 as some speed signs are covered, and you can easily be done for speeding. I've put mine to MPGe as I'm still more used to seeing MPG, and also I can compare it to my diesel car. I also don't have the driving mode, but then I don't think I need it that much. Good video, one thing I found on my Enyaq is I can be using Google maps and it will point out it has a better route and then put me on the Skoda satnav.
Hi Good video, at 7.10 you say car regen was quite high but you had gone past 30 signs and still doing over 40, was it because it picked up on that sign and braked?

I still have my Enyaq 60, it doesn't have the mode selector. It is a great car to drive with the speed limiter as well and that helps to be slightly more efficient. If I get rid of mine it will be to get another Enyaq.
I’ve had my Sportline 85x for 3 weeks and still getting my head around this system. I was out yesterday and couldn’t get it right. It was slowing and speeding up on its own. It’s a weird feeling, but you have to let the car do it. Since Škoda took the 4th button from the right side of the steering wheel away, you toggle between systems with the rotary button.
