Everyone makes the same mistake. You dont pull the clip out of the fitting - you PUSH IT IN to release ithe fitting.

Man some ppl make it sound so bad or hard to remove ONE motor mount bolt and move the engine just a bit forward.. its not even that hard. Not you though. easy peasie lemon squeezie.

You Push The Clips in first Before Putting the Fuel Hose back on it worked for me like a Charm

Only got 170,000 miles on my 2005 Ford focus and looks Iike my alternator might be needing a change out. Bought this car new when my boy was a baby and now he's 19 and in college. Couldn't have ask for a better sedan the Focus has been good to us.

Could you have used locktight for the bolts?

I have watched several vids and also was able to watch my mechanic do this in 2017 replacement on my 2006 Focus. I let him because I didn't know how then. He only charged me 100.00 dollars and it literally took him 40 mins which was well worth it IMO. Of course he had a commercial garage lift which makes things easier as well for this job. He was trying to show me the motor mount tip but it wasn't registering then. After watching your video it does now. This is my 3 alternator in 12 years so I need to learn how to do this repair. I will mirror some of the other comments and say your video is straight forward, I like the sequence you did the job in and thanks for not bogging down the audio with some cheezy background music. I am going to use ramps instead of jack stands for a little more height and clearance under the front end so I will return when I am finished and give you an overall curse word count because I think I am going to use a bad word or two under my breath. LOL Thanks for sharing you knowledge.

You still have the focus? Do they have fuel pressure regulator? Not the sensor.

Just watched this video to do the alternator replacement on a 2006 Ford focus. Instead of doing the motor mount, we removed the exhaust manifold cover, 4 8mm bolts, and loosened the lines above it and it slid right out. Thx for the video. Helped out a lot.
