I've got the 2018 August edition stock(No OPF) and it does vrrrpha. If u get the throttle control right, it even does in normal mode if the engine is warm, esp between gear 2-3. In sport 2/3 and 3/4 like u said...In normal mode try accelerating from a traffic light after the engine was off...auto stop start...
