No apples were harmed during the creation of this video. I'm sure many of you will disagree with what I said, but I hope it's clear that the only purpose of the video is to entertain. PLEASE DO NOT BASE YOUR DISTRO CHOICE SOLELY OFF OF THIS VIDEO. Manjaro is trash (according to everyone apart from the 2 guys in the comments that disagree). Only confused me even more
If linux is a car what is unix, the benz patent motorwagon
Clear Linux is really fast bro 👍 but is it buggy?
I started using gentoo and it's so stable because i don't want to have to bother compiling everything all the time, so i don't install a lot of packages.
i like fedora, it's stable and has the latest software.
Weirdly enough, I've always had issues with any Distro I had, but now that I'm on Arch with Hyprland on Nvidia, everything just works. I don't even bother with gaming on Linux though. Installing it was a nightmare due to archinstall being bugged at the time, just to proceed to give me a heart attack with "formatting /dev/nvme0n1" even though I selected /dev/nvme0n1p6. Thankfully that was just a display error. No OS in my grub wasn't though, so I ended up manually editing the grub.cfg that explicitly states not to manually edit it and now my Kernel is in the Linux partition and not EFI. Eh, what could go wrong?
Every 5g modem (even those on iPhones) has firmware that runs on the linux kernel.
I find they are too expensive for my taste
most accurate description of linux i ever saw
No love for Peppermint OS! Lightweight but usable and backed by Debian/Ubuntu repos. I use it with CodeBlocks, which makes cross-developing with Windows easy. It does everything I need it to, does it snappy and never gets in my way.
1:14 ummm actually that would be Arch get it right :^)
AERGBLLY
I use Arch btw
AmogOS
No gentoo after arch is a crime
I'm waiting for the latest stable Pop_OS release to make the switch

Kubuntu is the best of the buntu family because the KDE project makes damn good software and I will die on this hill 😤
You definitely missed Bodhi, or anything Arne Exton ever worked on, or even Makulu...
you're telling me, some people get PAID for their testicles??? i don't need to sell my soul to do that?? and I also get a mac to run asahi linux on??? where do i sign up???!?!?
This quote is not to be attributed to that clown Fireship
openSUSE Tumbleweed is my toke of choice. Anybody else here love the weed?
Best is Raspberry Pi OS!
Really disapointed in lack of hannah montana linux
the personal hygiene thing....too accurate
I have a ChromeOS laptop, Android phone and tablet and Windows 11 gaming PC. Oh, and an XBOX. Why would I need more Linux than I already have?
I use gentoo btw

Fedora just exploits the fedora team to beta test Red Hats paid Linux.
Alpine is the best distro :3
SteamOS is my favorite Linux distro
So I switched to Endeavor because I actually wound up breaking Ubuntu Linux mint multiple times and then when I'd switch to the Debian version of Linux Mint I bricked it as well. Then I tried Manjaro. I bricked that, the only operating system I haven't bricked is Endeavor OS.
been a debian user for a long while, but i installed arch for my partner, which was a blast, and now i kinda wanna switch
Lubuntu is GOAT
the pause was insane
"ElementaryOS is great if you're transitioning..." Well, the project owner of elementary is trans... so... yeah, I guess you could end the sentence there.
Arch linux was my first linux and rn I finally managed to set it up after two days of fighting my own ewaste laptop
Watching on fedora :)
Thank You.
I personally have been using Ubuntu for years and I like it a lot. The only negative I have found is the pulse audio does not flow through my dj program. To go from from 32 to 10 bands will never do.
I installed Manjaro about two years ago to try running a few VMs and docker containers. Why? All the hardware passthrough guides I found seemed to be for Arch at the time and I sure wasn't going to actually use Arch. Also, I just didn't see any difference between distros because they were all the same to me. Turns out, they are even more the same than I realized, which is why it is even more important to pick one that is stable. If you are going to break things, you should at least start in a state that isn't already broken. I uninstalled it earlier this year because an update broke the desktop and the ability to run updates months earlier and I only really noticed when it started adding upwards of about 15 minutes to the boot time. Since everything I was doing was inside of remote managed VMs, this was definitely a Manjaro problem and why it took me so long to even really notice that everything was burning. Why did I bother with a desktop distro in the first place? I wanted to learn more about Linux and I had hoped it could pull dual duty as a server and work station PC. I never really got around to trying to use it as a work station because I fell down a self hosting rabbit hole and only came back up when I noticed that the desktop environment was a raging inferno. I replaced it with Mint but I still mostly just use the desktop as a shortcut to getting around the fact that I still don't really know how to use Linux. I use the command line less often than I did when I was using Win 3.11. Mostly, I spend my time editing config files and using web UIs.
5:24 he literally showed the same device that im watching and roasted it😭😭
Puppy Linux have a cute name 😂😂😂
manjaro is bad af, if you want a arch based distro look for endeavor os
