NEW 2024 Gemmy Life-Size Dapper Skeleton Animatronic | At Home
This is my very first newer model Gemmy life size. and I must say I am a little disappointed.
straight out of the box this guy was broken. the velcros were unglued and the mouth was broken. this was the last one at my store so i had no choice but to do a in depth repair on him. this is the result. it sucks to see how Gemmy has fallen off over the years. but this is a decent Animatronic.

Gemmy 2002 & 2004 Head Be-Holders Skeleton And Pirate Fully Working

Got the skeleton as a Christmas gift and the pirate was found at a goodwill. the skeleton needed a gear in the hips and the pirate needed a new gear in the head dropping. both of these are super cool and vintage. Bought this from Spirit. This is my second one since my other one has a broken volume control so I just returned it. This one had a wire off the LED and popped up really slow for some reason. So I gave up on returns and just fixed it up myself. I’ve never had luck with buying from spirit.

got this from marketplace last year along with a face ripper for $190. she needed a bunch of work like some split gears being replaced and the mister being broken and having no cord. but now she's fully working and in her former glory with her orginal box. enjoy this incredicble piece of Gemmy halloween history. From Lowe's, Wal-Mart, And Spirit Halloween.

20 years old and the springs fully extend? I got a BNIB gemmy and he wouldn't go up more than 1ft because his springs were so compressed
This one's spring's definitely aren't The best they could be. He does slide down a few inches but it could be fixed if the springs were to be stretched out. It is definitely suprising that he still even rises as much as he does over the long period of time he was in the box.
I have him, also the smaller version was also in 2008
You need to adjust the speed dial. That’s probably why the belt fell off.
I checked it out to find out only the Big Heads have speed dials. Not sure why that is but later I will replace the motor with a slower one so that won't happen again.
