    So he went into the recruitment office, saying he wants to join the RAF, the recruiter, who was an RM asked how his maths was, he replied not good. So the RM recruiter said had he heard of the RM's, give them a try, their recruitment office is down the road? Then he does 8months RM training, THEN the RM sniper course, which is 4 months long, then tells his Squadron SM he wants to put his papers in for SF. His SM says no but still puts his papers in anyway? Your armed forces time starts from 18 so by his account he did less than 1 YEAR in CDO unit and was allowed to go on selection?!

    • @dylanjohns8409
      @dylanjohns8409 5 місяців тому

      No I think he served a year before going on selection. He went on the sniper course and then went on tour to Iraq so that’s probably 11 months. 4 months sniper course, 6 month tour and probably a month or two in between each of those. So by the time he actually went on selection he probably already served for a year, but still that’s ridiculously early to go straight on selection. Usually you’d join a unit and serve for 3-4 years at the earliest for some people.

    In a lot of his new interviews, the hosts didn't really hold him to the fire like you did. They almost glorified him, which was disgusting. People like him shouldn't be given a second chance. This serves as a warning to kids who even remotely thinks about messing up in the first place. He's already been sued by his fellow inmate for fraud and this fool is trying to do Fyre 2.0. Don't give this guy anymore attention.

    Your sincerity really contrast MacFarland's programmed, insincere shibboleth. But in this case the Theoretical must be addressed. !Everything inside the brackets is hypothetical! (Charley, You've had more time to practice mimicking sincerity convincingly) where as Billy is still in the "It's a cliche because it's true" stage of mimicking sincere responses. for example: "People with bad intentions attract people with bad intentions, and People with good intentions attract people with good intentions" - Billy MacFarland There's a centuries old system solely dedicated to the attempt of guessing what a person's intentions were while committing a real world action. That system constantly guesses wrong at that. Like you said at the top of your video it's all about your actions, but sadly MacFarland still believes intent supersedes the real world outcomes and its consequences be it good or bad. Damn. I was really rooting for this guy too prove everyone wrong. Cuz ol'boys marketing skills are next level but overshadowed by the greed he displayed before laying down for 6 year. blah blah blah I'm subscribing for sure though. looking forward to seeing your channel blowup.

    This was such a great listen. I feel as if I am going through something similar at the moment. I am going to need to re-watch this episode with a notepad and look into Lady Violet Manner's healing journey a bit more. The different techniques and approaches she mentioned seem manageable. Although the treatment centers are out of the budget, I am sure there are many alternatives available with the NHS; I am currently looking into talking therapies with NHS for myself. Meditation and exercise look like the hobbies I would like to take up to help arm myself against anxiety and depression. It is encouraging to see someone so stunning, smart and sensible go through the familiar despair and keep moving forward. I am overjoyed to see Lady Manner's still with us, and boy am I glad I saw the little clip of this video on TikTok. I had this misconception that attractive and successful would be immune to these mental health issues. Only now do I see how wrong I was. This is the first episode of this podcast I've watched and I am left impressed by the interviewing skills as well. Great questions were asked and plenty of time given to give helpful and thought provoking answers.

      Thank you for your feedback and insights. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed listening to the episode and I hope you continue to enjoy the podcast. Being attractive or attaining success may cause mental health issues in some people. For example: comparing to others, questioning self-worth, more pressure in life. What do you think? @@CharleyLawOfficial Hi Charley, Thanks for the reply. I agree completely, comparing to others and putting pressure on myself is an issue I am trying to deal with. Hopefully, the techniques I learn listening to your podcast and other podcasts can help out. Talking therapy will help too I imagine. I'd be happy to be added to the newsletter, I'm eager to try as many courses as I can manage. Keep up the brilliant work. 👍
