The middle of 2000s (2003-2009) peakness for many cartoon shows from Cartoon Network was the best era for many of them to shine and I was born in the beginning of the year of 2000 and I did catch up to some cartoon shows of Cartoon Network from the 90s towards late 2000s that marked our nostalgic memories during those childhood memories back then when we grew up with them in our road trip childhood memories that would never get forgotten in time.

In my opinion I personally believe that Cartoon Network and even the respective shows started the downfall of the show itself by falling from grace since the late 2010s (end of 2015 to beginning of 2016 onwards/present day because of the new cartoon show reboots that started the downfall of the show to be dead).

I would say that some of the cartoon shows from Cartoon Networks iconic/golden era of 1995-2010 died down after the middle years of 2010s (ending of 2015 beginning of 2016 onwards untill todays dark to renaissance era because for the low budgets on airing awful reboots) and there were still some good to decent/ok cartoon shows of the beginning of 2010s good enough to watch.

Cn went through a rise , then fall and a rise again only for it to fall , especially now with adult swim coming on at 6 am and cn having a preschool block . I remember watching this video when I was younger and even now it still holds up , although in the early 2010s Cn actually started to be good with Adventure time , Regular show and Gumball along with others however I felt like TTG is what lead to the second downfall given it took up so much of the airing schedule and drove me and others away from the product , and it stills airs till this day with all the older shows now gone and more coming in , I genuinely don’t see myself watching the network again because honestly I’ve lost hope in it

Everything stopped in 2008. Toonami was right to go on hiatus because the 2010’s was empty of excitement and activity. It’s coming very soon.

This aged, like, this REALLY aged.

This video is made during Cartoon Network’s first “true” dark age, and it was the year when CN Real was launched. Some people would think 2004/2005 to 2009 was the dark age of Cartoon Network, but I strongly disagree. 2004-2008 is more like a transitional/Bronze Age of Cartoon Network. It was kinda a mixed era at that time. While it still has more good shows than bad, it also had a few weak and mediocre shows like Squirrel Boy to just plain bad shows like Fried Dynamite and Out of Jimmy’s Head. But overall, 2004-2008 was a decent era for Cartoon Network. Not as good as the golden Checkerboard era, but still a decent era no less. And it’s better than CN Real

This was as good as a cartoon network doccumentary could get during the early years of youtube. These older videos have a simple charm to them, a more casual feel that makes them interesting in a time capsule kind of way

The introduction of Chowder was the start of Cartoon Network's downfall, it was unfunny, boring, try hard trash, also Teen Titans 2003 series was amazing, it ended with the perfect episode in 2006 "Things Change", Best Boy asks Terra "why can't things go back to how they were?" Terra replies "Things Change Beast Boy" and they part their ways, that signaled what was to come, then came Teen Titans Go and unoriginal parody show that tarnished the image of the great series, if they wanted to make a comedy show make cool stuff like I am Weasel, Cow and Chicken, don't ruin Teen Titans which was supposed to be serious, but they did because the writers of Teen titans Go were failures with their own idea so ripped off the great works of others. Batman, Superman JLA, JLU were amazing DCU shows but after JLU ended DCAU stopped sadly, Ben 10 series was the last thing that kept Cartoon Network alive but after its end with Ben 10 Omiverse in 2014 that is when the last great Cartoon truly ended and they gave the trashy Ben 10 reboot and kept airing Teen titan Go and other boring shows that no one cared and gladly ratings died with it and no one cares about cartoon network anymore, Chowder in 2007 paved the way for its demise but for 7 years Cartoon network still managed well but in 2014 after Ben 10 Ominverse the last good show ended,. Cartoon Network just died!

i know this is a old video but tbh CN City in 2004 to 2006 wasn't that bad of an era. You got awesome CN commercials in between shows that I think best represents the network, a cool new logo and good lineup. At least they still played old shows like Johnny Bravo and Dexter consistently. You won't even see that now post 2010. The drop started in 2006 albeit there were still good shows running like Billy and Mandy, Ed Edd n Eddy and Chowder and Flapjack

12 years later, I revisited to this video, because of cartoon network bringing back live action shows. I guess some never change after all.

Dang this video is still up, I deleted an old comment i had bc i thought it was cringe but i hope this one won’t be. I remember watching this video all the time in 2013-16. I really liked the music used and the sort of creepy ambient feeling the video gave off talking about CNs downfall. I really loved researching all about CNs history and it’s pretty sad what happened to CN but hopefully it can soon start to get back to its roots sometime soon. Thanks for the memories.
