Don’t push the fish forward and back. Not good for the fish. Hold by the tail and lightly turn side to side. Let the fish kick away when it is ready!

I live in dundee, hit me up ill go with you been fishing the mighty Fox for 30 years as well. Caught obscene numbers of smallmouth flatheads over the years
After moving away from the Fox Valley, I realize how much water access I've lost. The Fox Valley park district really had an eye on the future when they bought up so much river frontage. It's a great resource, and lets everyone access shoreline fishing.

I admire your dedication. I only catch musky when fishing for something else. I love rivers, you have the right idea. I noticed in cold water they'll follow just about anything, if you're real slow. I saw the same fish a couple years in a row, it just wouldn't bite, but it would follow and stop at the pier, 3 feet away. Great spots, you'll be getting one really soon.

Wow videos get even better the further I go back! I have played the highlands 1000 times it is hands down the best golf course I have ever played . My best friend was an original member there before there was a club house . If u play your 2nd shot correct u can score low. U miss u could ruin your round quick . Hopefully u play in the summer when the fescue is up and they have the greens rolling 13’s

its been a 8 years or some since I musky fished on fox , I always did better on walleye baits catching musky in winter .

@remyvillarreal I saw your smaller musky flopping around in the rocks in Geneva, a bigger one would be much harder to handle, trust me. Best thing for the fish is to keep it in the water, and in the net as long as possible. I mainly wade for smallies, but when I'm hunting musky I always try to bring a net.

@remyvillarreal Its a small river. Posting videos for thousands of fisherman trying to find new spots without putting in the work will bring unwanted pressure to these areas. Everyone wants to be told where to go and what to use instead putting the time in and figuring out the river themselves. Only a matter of time bucketheads watch your videos and start cleaning spots out with cast nets and taking what few trophies we have left. But I guess you youtubers don't get it.
No one told me about these spots and I found them. I get you but at the same time these dams are fished heavily whether I post a video or not. I enjoy keeping record of my outings and being creative. I respect your opinion but I don’t agree.
@remyvillarreal You literally mention in your videos where guys told you to try and what to use. Don't be shocked when you can't fish your goto spots because there's a line of guys there everytime.

Austin Wiggerman is a great guide in the area. Younger dude and will put you on fish. Main lakes he targets are the Fox Chain in Antioch and Lake Geneva in Wisconsin.
