Hello! My name is Emily and I created this channel to share my travels, music, and daily life. I recently moved to Asturias, Spain to teach English and I will be sharing my journey here.

Over the past nine months, I have lived and worked in Asturias, Spain as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. Back in September, I moved to Ribadesella, a small coastal town in the north of Spain. This is the story of my experience here, as I've found my way as a teacher and adventured throughout Asturias.

A Winter Visit to Italy

Over the winter break I took my first trip to Italy! We wandered through the charming allies and canals of Venice, took a day trip to Murano and the colorful island of Burano, and appreciated the breathtaking Renaissance art and architecture of Florence. Hiking in the North of Spain | Peña Ubiña, Asturias

I hiked up the Peña Ubiña mountain and it was one of the most beautiful adventures I've had in Asturias so far! ⛰ We stayed in a little hostel in the hills, woke up to the sound of cow bells, and spent the day hiking to the peak. Not pictured is me wheezing as I try and rock scramble my way up this ridiculously steep mountain. Music: Epidemic Sound
I moved to Spain! | Exploring Ribadesella

I recently moved to the beautiful town of Ribadesella in Asturias, Spain! 🇪🇸 I will be teaching English here for the year and this was my first time getting out and exploring. I walked along the River Sella, looked out at the Cantabrian Sea, watched the sunset over the city, and, most importantly, I saw a very cute ferret on a leash. hi emily! this video was so beautiful! i studied abroad in spain last year and had a roommate who was a fulbrighter. from talking to him, i knew that i wated to do an eta too! your project you did with your students was so wholesome and heartwarming. i hope that you're able to meet them again someday and that they remember you for a long time <3

I'm an aux through the Ministry program and I love the idea to have the kids draw/create something that makes them proud to be Asturian 😊
