That was not the real Airwolf. Check for the South African registration ZS-HMD. But they gave a lot of effort to make it look like the real deal. :)

At that time I was just seven years old and was in class 2 when Air Wolf was aired on Pakistan Television (PTV). Great TV episodes to watch and have a thrilling sensation. Good stuff to watch from Pakistan 🎉.

Maybe can not reach Mach speed however looks like it was made for it. Of course I'm not an aerospace engineer. 😅

I don't think this is the original helicopter. A few things look off. That fin under the wheel pods wasn't on the original. The side intakes and infrared thing are a different shape than the original. The upper rear exhausted were more of a silver, these are black.

This was the right helicopter for the part just like the trans am was the right car for Knightrider

I think this helicopter is worth at least 40 million rand in 2024 currency. Watching this 18/08/2024. It was my fave TV series. The thermal view used in the episodes to see through walls turns out to be real, not sci-fi anymore. I was 16 in 1987.
