Margot! I could listen to her all day.
This guy rules! Loved him.
So lovely ❤
This is so beautiful, Angela Mao is such an inspiration! And to know that she still practices her martial arts forms and stretching exercises to maintain her good health in mind, body, and spirit is so amazing! I'm from NYC; I hope to visit her restaurant someday and meet her, and I'd love to try her delicious menus. That would be such an honor and a dream come true!
Another reminder modern life is trash, yay.
I believe the movie Mr. Clark referred to in regard to use of the subjective camera was 1947's "Dark Passage" with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
I had the biggest crush on her in movie breaking 😊
I love this Grail so much ❤
Love all her movies. Angela Mao the best!!
Still my favorite werewolf movie til this day
Black Christmas is a cult classic. Great movie.
Stunning looking women 🌹❤️🌹
Ms. Mao looks absolutely Beautiful!!! Would be very honored to meet her one day.
She was very sexy and beautiful.... and she still sexy today....I love her big fan...
Near the end, Hughes talks about his production designer and how he worked on Cleopatra. He's confusing two people. John DeCuir was an art director on Cleopatra and never worked on a Hughes film; John W. Corso was the production designer on The Breakfast Club.
Around the 30-minute mark when he's talking about his friend with the criminal brother and how he was incorporating it into Ferris Bueller, he's talking about the character of Garth Volbeck, played by Charlie Sheen. While Sheen didn't have any more scenes in the film, there was a scene cut when Ferris explains to the audience about him. His brother is so crazy that Ferris once watched him eat a bowl of artificial fruit so he could find out what it was like to have his stomach pumped. His sister is rumored to be a prostitute, but "she just puts out so people will hang out with her." Ferris adds that when he slept over at his house, he heard his friend crying and asked him what was wrong. After being told it was nothing, Ferris realized that his friend cried himself to sleep EVERY night and it was so conditioned in him that he couldn't fall asleep without doing it. The only other remnant of the Volbeck character can be seen when Rooney gets his car towed by a Volbeck tow truck...Ferris said that Volbeck's parents owned a gas station and towing company.
This movie doesn't get anywhere near enough credit. It's brilliant.
Ive got to see that ninja movie, it looks so bad, itll be a great unintentional comedy.
I loved all three of those movies she was in. Dancing and martial arts were some of my passions. I was born in NY 1979 and the VHS tapes were in steady rotation.
I knew a girl in high school who reminded me of Allison. I still wish I'd made a greater effort to spend time with her. I would have encouraged her to be herself, and not make herself up for a fucking football star!
Impression I got from this video: Allie Sheedy kinda looks like Sean William Scott, Emilio Estevez looks and sounds a lot like his dad, and Anthony Michael Hall looks like David Bowie with that hair and jacket.
Such a lovely lady.
I can not imagine living a life other than one where you grow up in the 80’s with John’s films. God we are so lucky.
How Emilio becomes so anxious when his father is mentioned 😁
I grew up in that era and breakin and ninja films was a part of what I am and was,and all I can is thank you Lucinda dickey for the parts that you played in ninja 3,breakin and breakin 2. And along with Linda carter you were my crush as a young boy,who loved films. Thank you for making that little kid I was very happy, and no matter what you can be very proud of that as I don't think it wasn't just me,but I think it resonates in most people growing up in that time, who loved hip hop and martial arts movies.... Thank you Lucinda dickey you are a national treasure...
She wrote a novel at the age of 13.....See ''To Tell The Truth''
This was cool
0:50 Why is Jonathan Ross Ricky from Trailer Park Boys?
Emilio Estevez must have hated the Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire . He is never at the anniversary reunions of these Movies 😢
I'm here because everybody says I look like her. I can confirm I do look alot like her
shes so pretty
Such a blunt response in the beginning lol
ANGELA MAO, WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.
It would've been nice to see olivia hussey speak at a panel since she couldn't make the filming of itss me billy fan film
Love this background into how the filming went. Poor Lynne, if this hadn't been one of the first slashers she would have gotten a longer screen time. 😂
6:22 Eddie Quist sucks at transforming.
John Hughes is the mark twain of our era
Lion
Jane Pauley was so pretty
*Bows in respect*
Been a martial arts film geek for nearly 40 years and Angela Mao's movies are among my favorites! She had a look when she was angry that I don't think has ever been surpassed in cinema history.
Etsuko Shihomi and Meiko Kaji both had scowls that could rival Angela's, I think.
@blu-rayextras4022 - not familiar with either but I love a good scowl!
It would be nice to see her in a new film
RIP G
They should make movies like this..this was a badass movie in its time.. very underrated.. when I was a kid it scared the crap out of me.!!.. especially the transformations...this is one of the true horror flicks💯👍
The best ever.marital artist ❤.glad she is alive ❤
Mao, Angela Ying is great with her Chinese skills! Wow, her real voice is heavy and strong!! Love this woman 😍!
A. Michael Hall?
Judd wearing converse and athletic socks with a suit is so iconic
I would love to get the soundtrack to this
amazing lady. i saw her movies in the 70's. was always impressed with her style and flare.
