Why the Cloverway/Pioneer dub? It's so weak. As a hardcore Sailor Moon fan, this is cringy and not funny. The old English dubs of Sailor Moon should stay dead and should be destroyed for good. Childhood show or not, Sailor Moon should stay true to the original Japanese dub which Viz nails perfectly. Stick to the Viz Media dub, I don't care if my brutally honest comments about Sailor Moon doesn't get many likes, the Viz Media dub is all people need and they have to accept that the earlier English dubs of Sailor Moon are dead.

People need to learn when to let go of nostalgia and accept the new voice cast. The only reason why the 4kids voices get more love and attention is because fans can't let go of Misty leaving the anime and can't accept that the main 4kids voice cast were not coming back. I love nostalgia, but I don't like it when people whine that they miss the old voice cast. Sometimes, people have to let go of the past and accept the new voice actors.

I've found out that the Cloverway dub is an English translation of the French dub. In the French dub, Fisheye had a tomboyish female voice whereas Zirconia had a male voice. I'm happy the Viz Media dub was made because Sailor Moon didn't deserve to be censored and most children know better.

If anyone's that stupid, good lord! Granted, there is no limit to human naivete, but still... I feel sorry for the people in charge of networking stations being this censor crazy. It's true that children shouldn't mess with things they don't understand but censoring Sailor Moon was crossing the line. I get that it was done to prevent children from watching violent cartoons, but I did not approve Fisheye being changed into a girl. Changing Fisheye to a girl only made him a tomboyish beauty queen. And also, I did not approve Tiger's Eye talking with a very manly voice. The censorship was not funny, and it made little children look stupid. It will never forgive the censorship. I will never forgive Optimum Productions for ruining a magical girl show people know and love. The DIC and Cloverway dubs of Sailor Moon do not deserve the love and respect they got because they are censored abominations and I do not approve it. The only English dub of Sailor Moon that deserves love and respect is the Viz Media dub. I pity people who defend the DIC dub because the voice acting is cringe and everything it's a terrible English dub. Everything about the DIC and Cloverway dubs of Sailor Moon is cringe. I don't care if people grew up watching the DIC dub of Sailor Moon, that dub is a censored abomination, and I will never approve it. I lost faith in the Pioneer dub because it still has almost all of the gay men as tomboyish women. The Viz dub of Sailor Moon is the only Sailor Moon English dub I can tolerate. I don't care if the Viz Media dub is a shameless rip-off of the original Japanese version, it's the only Sailor Moon dub I consider a masterpiece only because it respects Naoko Takeuchi's original work. Sure, the script is a complete English translation of the original Japanese version, but it's the only way I will get a true Sailor Moon experience. Viz handled the voice acting much better. To me, it didn't matter if Sailor Moon was a kids show, it never deserved to be censored. I'm glad the Viz Media dub was made because the censorship was a bad choice and a bad idea. No matter the times and societal norms, too much censorship will always be a bad thing. The only Sailor Moon dub I can tolerate is the Viz Media dub. Everything in the Viz Media is just about the same as the original Japanese version and that's the way it should be. No Sailor Moon dub can beat the Viz Media dub. The Viz Media dub. Sure, people may not take my brutally honest opinion about the Sailor Moon anime very seriously, and may not get many likes, but I mean very well when saying that the Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon is the best English dub.

The people in charge of network stations must have been so paranoid to be this censor crazy and treat homosexuals plus effeminate men as tomboyish women. I will never approve the Sailor Moon censorship. No matter the times or societal norms, Sailor Moon censorship will always be a bad thing. I will never defend the Dic, Cloverway, and Pioneer dubs of Sailor Moon. Viz Media made the right choice of having Sailor Moon stick to the original script. Sailor Moon censorship was a sin and will always be a sin. I will stick to the Viz Media dub because it's just like the original Japanese version and is respectful to Naoko Takeuchi's original work.
