    Hi there , could you explain a little more about the sliders you've built here to pop up the camper..? The plastic groves you cut on a table saw have a square tubing that slides inside them which give the effect of raising the other 3 components of the camper ? Your response is greatly appreciated.

    One thing I would have done, Add a 4-5 foot or a Knee High Wall on the Second Floor so You could At Least Stand in it and not have to Crouch, specially once you get older or have a Bad Back. Other than that, Nice Cabin.

    • @gonorthoffgrid1786
      @gonorthoffgrid1786 2 роки тому

      I have to say a silty loam. the building sight is on some sort of eluvial hill on the inside corner of a glacial or watershed plain when looked at on a lydar image of the area this building sight was a small knob set like an island in a sea, all around is very pore ground heavly effected by saturation and freeze thaw. about 2 acres of this lot had been cleared since the 50's and so has become more stable not to mention the benefit of being the high ground and having drainage, go 100 yards in any direction and it is nearly a swamp.

    I’ve got the same inverter but 1000 watt. Think I could run that Harbor freight 1 x 30 belt sander off it? Ive got (2) 100 watt HQST panels going to (4) 12 Volt Marine deep cycle batteries. Nice set up!

    • @gonorthoffgrid1786
      @gonorthoffgrid1786 2 роки тому

      I should be ok, looks like its rated at 2 amps at 120 volts so thats 240 watts. the one issue you may have in inrush. the belt sanders a non capacitor start run motor if I recall right so depending on the temperament of the inverter it may be slow to start. a lot of inverters have a capacitor or compacter set up at the out put for a storage of energy in starting applications. I believe that's stated by the inverters start capacity on a 1000 watt inverter that may be 2000 watts but only for a fraction of a second depending on the load such as spinning up a flywheel will pull a lot of juice to get the momentum going. Id have to go tair one apart to get a better Idea of how that's set up, and perhaps someone can chime in thats more knowledgeable. I will say I have far beter luck running the pure sine wave inverters over the squared or modified wave inverter when it comes to starting things like grinders saws or High in rush demand tools. there is a item called a soft start for ac units in use with generators that would help in that situation... but anyway... yeah it should work.
