Ted did a dick move with that moonlight confession, Bro, few hours before she and your best friend getting married?? AND saying btw yeah you are the only one, but I go away bc of YOU, but it's okay, totally not a guilt trip, nooooo....to the end it is pretty clear Barney was the real glue to the group, not Ted. ALso, did any of you know one on and off couple that stay'd together till the and? I not a lot, but in the ned all off them married another person. What the hell was the problem with Ted finds the much better match and everybody live happy. The End.

It's funny how everyone is arguing who is a better match for Robin, while no one talks about how she literally can't have either of them move on from her. Barney was fine with a girl, enters Robin with doubts about her feelings and makes him turn towards her again. Ted has finally move on from her, enters Robin wanting him to choose her and him running again toward her.

Honestly the episode before last is just a perfect ending, and if you add the alternative ending the series wraps up nicely and you don't have to undermine everything you've built up for the entire last season. As far as I'm concerned last episode never happened.

To all the people who thinks divorce defeats the purpose of a marriage, I simply cannot agree with an equal proposition- that buying a car is futile because there's a possibility that I might crash with it. That's part of living- taking chances, chances with what we love in life, finding happiness, and sharing it with them at this very moment, right now. I see people complaining about how bad the ending was for years and years. Grow up. You shit on one percent of the show being bad and use it to dismiss the brilliance and greatness of its 99 percent? I don't buy that BS with all due respect. HIMYM was there to make us smile, laugh and feel, when we were down, and I didn't pay a cent for them (for justifiable reasons lol) Atleast for me, and while not exempted from criticism I feel like it more than delivered. The devil's in the detail, which is the title. How 'I' met your mother, not how 'your mother' met me. This was the story of Ted, and personally, I justify the ending on that regard.

The fact that the fake room is in the middle of the skate ring kills this scene for me. If the fake walls were attached to a real wall, with a door they came through, it would have been better for me. Like, she didn't notice she was crossing the ring and into a fake room?

Ok this is a nice scene, but how did they get into this room without Robing noticing they were in a giant cubicle? I mean, they would have to go through the ice skate ring to go into it. See 1:37
