On the surface it is a love song. Dimash wanted a song about “pure” love, hence “Angel” Love. Kazakh composer Renat Gaussin composed this months ago while looking out his airplane window at clouds. He played the music for Dimash, who liked it. About two weeks before the Singer 2024 gala for which he was asked to sing a song, Dimash contacted Renat and told him he wanted to sing Renat’s song. Renat contacted a well-known Kazakh poet, Kalkaman Sarin, to write the lyrics. Dimash dedicated the premiere performance to one of his fans who died of cancer shortly after Dimash visited her in the hospital. 😢🎉🎉😢
