Id been brainstorming on how a post frame pier and beam structure would work. This is first one that really shows it on a large scale. If you ever do another like this can you do more long form vids going over some of the unique details?

I've been looking at different building options, is this large of a pier and beam foundation more cost effect than a slab foundation?

You run your straps throught the rail and hook to the underside of the bed

That is a rub rail, it is there to protect your straps not to be tied to. You can hook into the stake pocket but don't go around the outside of the rub rail. someone sideswipes you there goes your load off your trailer.

Wrapping it around the rail twice does absolutely nothing, running the tail back into the spool jusy clogs the spool up early before you can get the load 100% tight. Roll the tail up, tuck it underneath the strap and tighten it thats it

Not dot approved. The strap is not supposed to be on the outside of that rail. Failed.

Too much like work....just roll the tail tightly and put it under the strap before you tighten it
