My Day with Michael Trailer
A cinema verite style documentary set in South Pasadena (where the bulk of the original 1978 Halloween was filmed) featuring the unsung heroes: the Silent Michael Myers, who take pictures with adoring fans for free. Their stories are told interchangeably in this meta short while the director struggles to complete his movie.

likemichael.vhx.tv/products/like-michael-a-true-story DeDe Jones is sent to Haddonfield, Illinois once again to cover the Halloween festivities as well as the bizarre history of this virtually unknown town. It's only claim to fame (or rather infamy) is it being the birthplace of Michael Myers, where in 1963, he murdered his sister Judith.

Top Ten Things I Love About John Carpenter's Halloween
For someone who’s desperate for a job this really ticks me off
@@Erikso20008200 I’m not. I just love Halloween
@@AbandonOBrianProductions Hope you know I wasn’t attacking you I meant I was pissed at the 3 who didn’t decide to show up. I totally get how much of a headache that would be trying to run a store solo
@@AbandonOBrianProductions I tried to work at a spirit myself few years back a pretty big Halloween enthusiast myself
Update?
I make documentaries now.
I first saw Fast Times At Ridgemont High in the theater and was a bit disappointed, honestly; it was marketed as a T&A party movie, with Spicoli front and center. What I watched instead was a movie that felt all-too-relatable to awkward 13 year old me, with many moments, ironically, mature in their display of human interaction (and Phoebe Cates). I compare the experience with with the first time I saw "This Is Spinal Tap"; yes, it was hysterically funny, but there were moments of genuine cringe mixed in with mini-Stonehenge and exploding drummers. "Breakfast Club" barely registered for me back then for a simple reason: it always felt like characters reading a script. And the WTF "teenage slang" was stupid then, even for the 80's. All these years later I still quote "Fast Times" and compare life experiences to situations in the movie (I can fix it!). Aloha, Mr. Hand.
Do you have to pay to use or become a part of Central casting ?
No it’s free. But it is VERY hard to support yourself nowadays off of it.
The greatest movie ever made. The demise of a civilization. A culture. The horrors of war. The struggles of surviving.
That's awesome you got to meet John Singleton and got a chance to be in snowfall
I didn’t get to talk to him. I would’ve got walked offset for that.
Such a good review of a good show. Nice job
I'm Philip's daughter- from me and my whole family, thank you. This is a beauitful collection and I deeply appreciate the time you to took to make it. Blessings you and your loved ones🙏🤍
Are you serious
Love this video
Agree with everything you said 100%! Even as a kid I hated how Mark acted and you described him perfectly.
Thanks brother. Happy holidays.
great showcase of his career. It amazes me how many popular shows and movies he was a part of.
"Really kinda busy, Rat" has been a part of my lexicon for 4 decades.
For me it’s $40 worth of fucking film
This was great!
Thanks for watching
They couldn't get the rights to the Zeppelin album and had to use the one they did.
No it’s a joke that he picked the wrong album.
@@AbandonOBrianProductions No it wasn't Heckerling even said exactly that, Zeppelin wouldn't license that album to ANYONE for movies, etc...
@@AbandonOBrianProductions " Within minutes, FAST TIMES director Amy Heckerling filled us in on the details. “Kashmir” wasn’t a movie error and it wasn’t to make Ratner look like a dipshit by playing the wrong album-its brooding beat was simply perfect for the scene. I went from praising a gem of an album to uncovering a movie ‘mystery’ thanks to the vagaries of Twitter. So now the next time you’re watching FAST TIMES and somebody points out that “that song isn’t even on that album”, you can dunk all over them with facts straight from the director’s mouth."
@@AbandonOBrianProductions MOVIE URBAN LEGEND: Fast Times at Ridgemont High used the song “Kashmir” even though it did not fit into the script. Led Zeppelin has had a strong history in their career with the protection of their songs as far as allowing them to be licensed for films and stuff like that. This is a policy that has been wasted away a bit over the years as: A. The large sums of money available to them for licensing plus B. The large amount of other respected artists who have licensed their songs have led to Zeppelin being a bit more willing to allow their songs to be used. That is why you can now hear, say, “Rock and Roll” being used to sell cars or “Kashmir” being used to sell phones. However, in 1983, that was not the case - they were practically Fort Knox when it came to using their songs in ANY sort of context.
Yes the doors! Riders on the storm!
Both are great movies, I saw Boyz in the Hood when I was six years old and at 39 years I just saw Stand By Me (It was before my time 😅) but when I saw the all boy quarter say “wanna see a dead body?” I was like did Stand By Me influence Boyz In the Hood and at the end when both characters faded due to death from murder, I thought the parallels were genius. It’s a shame that poor whites refuse to believe that they are not victims of discrimination and have more in common with their poor black counterparts
Roseanne
The music is overpowering the narrative making this apparentky cool video very annoying.
Well, he's always been my second favourite character after Spiccoli, but I relate to him much more!
Thank you
Damone is a prick. He busted his load in Stacy and never thought hey she could get pregnant which she did. Then he broke his word about driving her and paying half. He could have just been honest but he was a coward. Mark played it right. A big step makes big mistakes. What was the point anyway? Love or sex? Mark wanted Love. Sex comes after love has been established. So mark might be dull but he knows what he wants. He also still loved Stacy even after having meaningless sex and becoming pregnant and having an abortion. Mark stayed, Damone cut and run. Let’s also remember Stacy is 15. A child’s mind in an adult body. She was growing up too fast.
i love how the bike makes him crazy lol
I watched this movie for the first time when I was 15 (in 2015) and mannnn I still have a massive crush on Damone. Re-watching Fast Times now in (2023) i realized (looking back at my dating history) I have a type. And that type is Damone~❤️😂
Awesome bro! Care to share the film, or let me know when it’s released to view.
We are putting it on Vimeo today! We will keep you posted.
Best movie I’ve seen at the la short film fest. I made my decision.
Wow! Thank you so much. I have plenty of competition:
You forgot to mention the worst part of Marc. He still wanted to nail Stacy after Damone planted the flag. Gross
It wasn’t Damone that planted the flag it was the stereo shop dude who was in his mid 20 that first busted inside Stacy when she was a virgin. Lucky she didn’t get pregnant then.
In mischief it was Jonathan Belah he was the hero .
the music is reallyyy distracting...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow this guy is the most unprofessional idiot I've ever seen. Did someone make him a keyholder and despite workers who are late he's still not opening the store? Fire this jackass immediately. Totally unprofessional.
No lives matter!
I have to call BS. Damone wasn't shit. He was just another dude trying to get laid. Mr. Vargas, the biology teacher, was the true player in that movie. 😄
Thank you for the video, I have a question - I’m planning to go to Central Acting at New York, and since NY is heavy charging for parking, do you know if Central Casting pay for your parking expenses?
They do in California
@@AbandonOBrianProductions When you started as an Extra, how was your daily life schedule? Did you had to look for jobs on your own time, or do they call you? And if they do call you, is mandatory to go?
@@_Gerson so central casting in Los Angeles has changed since Covid. Most of my gigs back then were things I submitted to via email. I must’ve submitted to 50 things a day. Now I only book from text messages.
Great video man. Im almost 51 so I was young for Fast Times, but of course have seen it dozens of times. I agree with your analysis. BTW, it doesn't matter if she comes, stays, lays or prays, whatever happens, your toes are still tappin.
"It doesn't matter if she comes, stays, lays or prays, whatever happens, your toes are still tappin". One of the best movies lines ever written!
Fast times was a funny film.
Very well made trailer with the awesome swinging sound of Dean Martin 😊👍🏼🎵
Thank you so much, although I'm not located in Los Angeles this is a lot of good things I have learned :)
Don't care- the film is still great... stop being weak and enjoy it
Jessie heihman is overrated
He’s a nobody
MI PELICULA FAVORITA DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS👍
Wrong album! “Kashmir” is on Physical Graffiti not Led Zeppelin 4)
And circle gets the square.

Jen Jason leigh mmmmmmm
I’ve already commented on this but this video is criminally underrated
Absolutely! All in the Family's The Draft Dodger is #1.
Lol. Funny stuff. You're the guy who was rooting for Johnny in The Karate Kid lol.
Damn right
I don't dislike "A Christmas Story." It's not bad at all. But it's seriously overrated. My #1 is "The Gathering" starring Ed Asner.
