A popular heritage railway, connecting with boat services on Lake Windermere.

A steam-hauled train arrives at Newby Bridge, the intermediate station between Haverthwaite and Lakeside. Upon reaching Lakeside most passengers on this train will alight and baord a vessel plying between there, Bowness and Ambleside on Lake Windermere.
