    found your channel today while considering doing a water fast while doing Dr. Bobby Price's detox and I think that now I'm going to do 72-hour water fasts with the 14-day detox. I'm plan to break my fast with fruit and try to eat clean, mostly large salads probably. This comment will also serve as my first accountability post

    Thank you Jerome. You are so spot on about getting to know oneself. I started off aiming for 72 hr fasts with a 4hr refeed but almost 4 weeks on, I’ve found that 48hrs is my sweet spot and I need an 8 hour refeed window because fasting has diminished my appetite so much that I can’t eat much in one sitting so I have to spread my food over about 8 hours. You know your stuff👍

    Thanks Jerome! When you refeed, do you typically eat during the entire 4-6 hour period consistently with little breaks or is it more like two larger meals that are a few hours apart?

    I got super excited when I found this channel. I did good fasts for 10 days and have reached to 72 hours when things started going down hill. I realized that 72 hours is too long for me at this stage, but I am struggling to continue even with shorter fasts. Its all mental. I binged several times and now I feel like I am not sure if I will ever loose the weight. I have been doing 12-13 hr fasts lately and even that has become to be a struggle. I feel like I have lost against my weight again. But I don’t want to give up, but not sure how.

      I can´t do 72 rolling fast either, only once in a while, but omad is more doable, when you know that you can eat it al today lately, it does the trick for me. Also trying to eat as healthy as possible during the eating window. Don't give up on yourself, you can also eat 2mad , just try to move/walk more and eat as clean as possible with some extras once in a while.

    Thank you uploading your videos I have one question although I know in water fast one should not eat anything but is it fine if I eat few fruit or small chicken salad something like 200 calories one small 200 calorie in a day while doing water fasting will I still loose weight like this

      Sauna + bone broth+ muscle building. That is the holy trinity of not having loose skin. Dry fasting also if you are able to.

    Hey Jerome. Just starting my very first 90 hour fast last night Done 72 hour in the past and know it works. Just got back from vacation yesterday and have to do something to get my weight in control. Hoping it resets my body and then going to do an Alternative ADF program where I only eat in a 8 hr window on Tues, Thurs, and Saturdays. That will give me 2 40 hour fasts and a 64 fast each week. Tired of the yo-yo cycle. Praying this works and thank you for the motivation

    I’ve started over for over a year everyday. Today, is another start over day. But I’m more confident today that I’ll reach my goal to just get started. If I make it today, I can make it the next day and so forth. I have a family reunion to go to in late August and that’s my goal, to lose about 57 lbs or 60 lbs by then. I’m 187.6 right now. I want to get to 130 at least, or 125 lbs. I WILL DO THIS. I’ll be breaking my 40 day fast with chicken bone broth and then watermelon.

      None. I don't know much about gallbladder issues when losing weight, but if that's your fear - what's the rush of losing it so fast? There's always the fear of the complications of being overweight/obese

    37 hrs into a 68 hr fast. Incorporating fasting into my life was the best decision ever!! Congrats on getting back to goal weight jeromey-rome!! 🎉🎉❤❤ And I LOVE it that you're putting the hammer down on the trolls.     I really commend your efforts. I did a similar journey over the past year and a bit, but as I'm a bit older than you, was treading a little more warily. Today, I'm within sight of my goal of 100kg. I'm 63M, 195cm, started at 132kg and at my lowest, was 104kg, currently doing OMAD/OMEOD and hovering around 108kg (I'm thinking replenished Glycogen stores, which adds about 2-3kg to one's weight). I achieved my best weight-loss with extended fasting of between 3-7 days (I didn't go beyond 7 days, heeding the guidance from Drs' Fung & Ekberg regarding the caution with refeeding after a longer fast). However, many of the various presentations do concur that varying the length of one's fast prevents the body from getting used to a routine, thereby keeping the weight-loss going. Thus, your process of repeated 4-5-6 & 7 day fasts seems to be a good strategy and which I think I will try, as even with OMEOD, these last few kg are proving a bit of a trial. I'm maintaining and not gaining, but not currently losing either. Good reflection on your efforts too via the video.

    Hi Guys - I have only discovered this channel some time last week and I am on my second long fast, my first one was 62 hrs and I was weighing 90KG and today I am on 16 hrs of my 72 hrs set and weighed 88KG / thank you for the motivation.     Another good takeaway from today's live chat, that may work for me (not saying it's for everyone) delaying drinking water during an extended fast after I wake up until I'm really really thirsty so that the water itself becomes something i crave instead of food.

    Hey Jerome, hey chat. Hope everyone is doing well with their journey. Missed the live. Boo. Saturday was my Birthday, 42 🥺. I spent it moving my brother. He’s now living in the apartment right beside me. We fight. Should be interesting 🤦🏼‍♂️. I saw the new Bad Boys movie today (Sunday). Martin is absolutely hilarious. It’s a great movie everyone should check it out. Anyways, my nerd stats… Week 16: 2 fasts, 75hrs/25min & 45hrs -1.5 -54.1 total 269.1 current weight! I’m in the 260’s. Exciting! Hope everyone is smashing their goals. If not, set the timer and go again! Keep trying.

    That's why fasting is one of the pillars of Islam because it has so many benefits. We Muslims fast 30 days in Ramadan from a little before sunrise until sunset for entire month and eleven days every month supplementary fasting.
